There is no battery for the ADX51. It does require phantom power in order to operate. Phantom power is found on most mixers and is very common. Best of luck!

Hey I dont know how to work this mic does it use a battery that im unaware of?
To operate it do I need to activate phantom power? Do i need to change the little knobs in the middle? Could you please get back to me i bought an audix pack and everything else works except my two adx 51....... please answer back. I would principally use the mics for drums... if that changes anything
