CN mainline? So this diamond crossing is located somewhere along the area between highways 16 and 14? i know of two other CN/CP rail crossings in the general area of edmonton, one along highway 15 where the CP tracks to ft mcmurry go north and cross with the CN secondary mainline going east / west through vegreville and then to north battleford, sask. the second one is located right outside of Alix, AB, on a very busy CN north / south line and a CP east / west line, located on highway 12 beside an highway overpass
It was fairly hot out and he tossed it to me for something to drink. Railfanns are generally liked by the crew as we showcase their hard work as they are not allowed to do it.
Their was a centre beam loaded with "Tall wall" at the 9:16 mark. That comes from our mill in High Level.
Brian Johnston is it the long wood boards that are on that centre beam?
@@TonyVRailfanning Yup. Wrapped up in the white and green Norbord lumber wrap.
You haven't railfanned in Edmonton until you've got a water bottle from the CPR. Love the track level shot of the meet, great video.
Edmonton Rails thanks, it was a nice gesture from the crew to throw that water bottle too me :)

This one is located just north of highway 16 between 17th street and Range road 232
Very cool Tony!
Kelley Mueller thanks!
The water bottle gesture, was that a sign of respect or?
