I can tell you what kind of chimp Ibuki's going to grow up to be and that's a bully and from the way he's been with Peach trying to mate with her a hundred times a day when she's in estrus and then when she doesn't want to he throws a 3-hour tantrum could be a big problem if that's not nipped in the bud.

I always felt that this family would have a lot more structure if Kenta was still alive even though he lost power he was a respected individual who involved himself in between the others. He would definitely still hold weight in this family.
チンプのケンカって、途中で誰が怒ってたのか、わからなくなることがありませんか。仲裁に入ったマックスに、なぜかイブキが「やめてやって！」みたいになってたし。。それがチンパンジーの奥深いとこかなぁ。以前、テレビで飼育員の方が「あれ？私なにを怒ってたんだっけ？」っていうのがチンプ💕って言ってました。後を引かないんですね！
モモコが激しく息子に攻撃しているように見えるけど、怪我するようなことはしてないし、マックスも威圧して喧嘩を止めさせようとしてるだけなんですよね。

Amen brother... Or sister!!! I'm sorry to have to bust people's bubble but Fubuki will NEVER be an alpha. He's a selfish opportunist. He has absolutely no altruistic tendencies. If he helps another chimp out, it is only a ploy to underhandedly aquire something that he wants. He. Has absolutely no traits needed to become an alpha. He's now a young adult. Most young adult male chimpanzees have the respect of most, if not all of the adult females. None of the Tama female chimpanzees have any respect for him. They don't see him as a worthy chimp that they want on their side. They see and treat him exactly as they see him. As a nuisance. As a pest that you have to chase away. Mostly though, they just ignore him. Which is probably the worst thing that a chimp could want.

Momoko only clicked her lips, but never bit Fubuki, and Fubuki knew very well that his mother would not dare bite him, so he was not particularly worried.
I love Decky but sometimes I swear he makes things worse. Oh well.

Guess because she is the mother and grandmother of largest family, perhaps?
Even Ibuki knows how infinitely timid, compliant and weak-willed Max is.
It's odd to me that I never have felt like Fubuki and Momoko were close even though they are mother and son.Even when Fubuki was very young, he was so independent and didn't particularly latch on to his mother like a normal chimpanzee his age would. As of recently, I've seen countless videos where Fubuki has even targeted his own mother, Momoko, and sometimes even threatened to attack her, maybe Momoko finally got tired of him threatening her and now her son, Ibuki. A stranger who didn't know any better would think the two are complete strangers. Is it just me, or am I wrong?? I wonder why that is because I always thought male chimps tend to be close to their mothers even when they grew older. Bon was very close to Cherry even as he was an adolescence, but with Fubuki and Momoko they act like complete strangers
