- An excerpt from the book "The Normal Christian Life," by Watchman Nee (1903-1972).
Watchman Nee became a Christian in mainland China in 1920 at the age of seventeen and began writing in the same year. In 1952 he was imprisoned for his faith; he remained in prison until his death in 1972. His words remain an abundant source of spiritual revelation and supply to Christians throughout the world.
Romans 6:6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

Are you aware that the Bible says the seventh-day the day we now call Saturday is the Biblical holy day, not Sunday an invention of the Roman Church?
Brother Nee's books are truly for the seeking believers in Christ! Tradition holds many believers back from seeing the divine revelation in the Bible- "whenever the heart turns to the Lord the veils are taken away!"

It's a great blessing to read watchmanee books and know his crucified life.
I love Watchman Nee though he is dead but alive in the spirit I follow God who gave him wisdom and revelation in the knowing God and even walked with him in his spiritual journey.

Watchman was a good man. It’s sad that his successor was WL, who only profited off the gospel, wanted complete control of the organization and covered off for his son.

Nee wrote a book of some merit Spiritual man it was his only written book..its a confusing horrible book ...it has some excellent stuff in places but reading it is a burden !I did!Its a mess and people reading it often are full of spiritual pride!Most Nees stuff sermons interesting some extremely questionable!I cant judge him he may be better man than most in following God..but I'm unsure of other matters!This here seems good commentary!

I had the opposite experience reading all Brother Nees books. Though his writings the Bible has been more open to me!
