I've alway's liked the name Sound Station. It reminds me of a real life station stationed in the ocean playing nothing but aesthetic music in the middle of nowhere.
I love telepath so much, his music has been incredibly valuable and important to me for years now. I always wonder what goes through his head and heart when he's making such beautiful and emotive music. The thoughts, the feelings.. it's truly a mystery. (Thank you for uploading this man ❤)
@@gofigure4198 na its more than that. Down/up-shifting the pitch/tone/bpm, adding distortion, mixing different samples together. Vaporwave isn't the most complex thing to make by any measure but its not just copy pasting old songs in a DAW and stretching out the sample a bit. Thats plunderphonics like Haircuts for Men, which is also legitimate in its own way.

Reminds me of this bathroom a playdate friend had. It was a 90s looking underwater themed bathroom. Down to the clear toilet seat with fish printed on it. Just like the shower curtain. And they had that amazing Softsoap that had the fish on the bottle. The house was honestly a trip back in time because it looked so 90s. He was a little older than me (probably born in 99 or 2000 tbh), and he had the coolest room with toys from the 90s. It feels like a fever dream tbh.

Honestly, for someone like me who has dealt with a crappy family for a couple of years, and have finally made it back to my mother's (which is way better in comparison) yeah that was a struggle for a bit, so I see what you mean weirdly enough, I actually did vibe to this song years ago, August of 2019, used to play this video in the background, hooked it up to a small little speaker, I would play it while leaving my dads air conditioners on, always dark, freezing nights, but no joke I did like it.

The GIF looks so electrifying retro as it teaches the world to be a much better place. The chorus part of the music describes the many awesome wonders of the world and possible the whole universe.
