You do realise that in today's age with the cost of living and other fees that adults often do move back in with their parents because they can't afford rent, groceries, or other day to day fees, right? This isn't the 1980s anymore. As a matter of fact, in my city- you need to make more than $5000 a month to afford rent, groceries, utilities, and other day to day living expenses. Most people don't even anywhere close to that. Many people live with roommates, but with landlords who act as money hungry leeches, more often than not, people have to move in with family. Whether that is with parents, grandparents, in-laws, siblings, cousins, etc.
