- Today we made a Dunkin Hines easy cake kit in the Ninja Foodi Grill-this is so easy and the perfect size to satisfy that sweet tooth! My Aunt Ruth loved this-I did too -lol.

I am so intimidated to try a cake from a regular size cake box...temp and timing
@@beckys95 I've made a couple but its too much and takes too long-you have to cook the mix in 2 cake pans.

I'm so glad to see Aunt Ruthie in another video. I know y'all miss each other. I bought that mix a few weeks ago but haven't replaced the eggs I lost in a storm power outage. Can't wait to try it.
I have a few more videos with her in them-I'm back inNY and miss her. But I. may be seeing her again. in September-if all the stars align-lol. Sorry about your power outage hope you didn't lose too much.

It would definitely work. in the Ninja Foodi. using bake function. I'm picking up. another one soon to bake in the foodi and will do a quick video. Kathy check the cake at 20-22 minutes and go from there-not sure if it going to take longer in the Foods-Don't want you under or. over cook your cake.

I think Aunt Ruth is well and truly spoilt by you Lisa the lucky lucky lady LOL!. I think we have a similar thing over here I just fancy having a go at that so I shall go and see if I can order one for my Tesco Delivery on Friday.
She was lol. She is 85 and need a bit of pampering-lol. I spoke to her. this morning and she is doing well-she been eating the ribs. She prefers the "cow-zones". She is so funny.
If your baking this. in your. Foodi use the same temp.149F-check the cake at 20-22 minutes. I'm hoping to pick up a few more of these and bake in the Foodi and will do. a quick video.

I make the sugar free cakes for my mom. There’s about 3 cups of mix in a box. So I use 1 cup of mix with a single egg and 1/3 cup water. Hand mixing with a whisk is the best way, but I don’t understand why mixing in the blender doesn’t work. It doesn’t. Just don’t do it. I have my own way of baking too. 5 minutes on low in the microwave. Since the microwave cooks from the inside, you don’t poke it with anything. If the top is spongy like a marshmallow, it’s done. Then 5 minutes in the Foodi at 375 just to give it a slight crust around the outside. Without this it won’t hold together enough to be able to slice it. But in the time it takes to heat the oven, the cake is cooling on a plate.

Aunt Ruth!!! You should have told Lisa that the cake wasn't all that great and she wouldn't like it. However, you can't let food go to waste so you'll just finish it ALL up. *wink, wink*

Hehehe..... I made the cheesecake kit as well-I really didn't like it but she loved it! She had to eat two of them-lol. This truly is easy and quick-I'm going to. keep one in the house as a just in case if someone stops by or if......I want something sweet-lol. Thanks myozbubble!

Hi Cattitude! Yes it does-they had it in Vegas but can't find it back here in NY-sent my brother on a mission lol. I made the cheesecake one as well-my aunt loved it. I have a few more to do-received so many questions about if it would work in the Foodi so I figured I. would do. one in the foodi as well.

Hi Nikki, yes it will use the same temp and the time should be around the same. Check the cake at 20-22 minutes and go from there if not done bake for a few more minutes-then check it again. Thanks Nikki. I'm picking up a few more of these today and going to bake them in the Foodi.

It may or may not be true but I figured if the air can circulate around the cake it will bake better. I should do an experiment to see if this is true. Thanks
