I think that's one of the things that make teaching exciting. Almost every student learns differently and you have to come up with a way to deliver the information that matches their learning style. And yes, every now and again, they do the funniest, darndest things!! All the best, Cheers Rick

I failed my driving test for the second time today. I was disqualified for a critical error. I was supposed to take a right turn at the traffic light. I didn’t realize until I was done with the test that I did a rolling stop while turning right. I honestly forgot to stop behind the line, but I guess in my head even with all of the cars that were coming behind me, I was going to accidentally cause a car crash. I always fail to remember sometimes that as long as I have my turn signals on, 99 percent of cars will know what I’m trying to do and either wait for me to finish what I’m doing, or try and pass me on the side. Once I had done the rolling stop and turned right, there was two lanes; one going to the left and another that was to the right. I blanked out at the wrong moment and stayed on the left after she told me to stay on the right lane. My anxiety was on full display today. The DMV worker was a much older lady and told me to calm down and told me to just relax. I know they’re not all that nice, but she gave me encouragement to not give up until I get my license no matter how many times it may take me to pass.

I have my second try at a driving test in 5 days and I am reallyyy hoping I pass, I’m feeling good about my driving but still nervous about the test. I haven’t taken lessons but in my last test the examiner said I have great parallel parking and hill parking, but there was no snow. My question is, is going up on the ice on the side of the road like the same as hitting a curb while parallel parking? Cause it’s all built up on the sides and if I want to be enough off the road I keep going onto it but not actually on the curb
If you haven't seen this vid already, have a look: ua-cam.com/video/BPpRKeheX00/v-deo.html You just have to get in behind the vehicle in front of you. Don't get into the snowbank. Drop us a note if you have further questions. Cheers Rick

I got my license in Sweden in November before the snowfall, but the issue now is I really scared to drive in Winter, road looks exactly like in this video it's a thick layer of ice 😱
You can do it my friend. Here are some other vids that will give you some information about driving in winter: ua-cam.com/video/rlrTAhCFnl0/v-deo.html All the very best, Cheers Rick
@@smartdrivetest HI Rick, last two days I drove over 400 kms. I was bit scared when I started and it was snowing in the beginning but I did it anyways. Thanks for the mental support I got from your videos and you are right there's less snow on the highways than the cities! Once again thanks 🙏
What does "pick your 45" mean? Do you think it's recommended for drivers who do not take the full backing position with an arm over the passenger seat?
Good luck on the test!! Super informative as always. I have my G2 road test on Friday and I have a couple of questions as it’s been hard to find information online The car im using for the test has a foot brake as the parking brake. So when I’m doing a downhill park with a curb for example, I would signal right check all of my mirrors Turn the wheels all the way to the right And then would I apply the foot brake before putting the car in park? Also when I’m releasing the parking brake since it’s a foot brake will I have to use my left foot to release the foot brake while my right is on the brake at the same time?? Actually I think I would release the foot brake, then put my foot on the brake then shift into drive to pull away from the curb. Lol please let me know if this is correct I’m losing my mind here 🤣
When releasing the parking brake, put your right foot on the brake pedal and then use your left foot to release the parking brake. Continue to hold the foot brake and put the car into gear.
