I had only one rock left so I kept him in a specific part of the area to avoid the last one. Plus I stayed away when the tracking light attack to avoid it from destroying the last rock. Hope this helps.
To anyone struggling with the AOE, dodging left or right is easier. If you dodge forward or back, you sometimes get hit by the waves coming in pairs. Sideways lets you dodgeroll quick enough, if you've upgraded your dodge for agility.
You're an absolute saint. Also I found that if you use the Spear Wolf transformation, his side dodges are either way more agile or have more i-frames, plus you won't lose your own life.
I didn't use any of the rocks because I simply didnt think about it at the time, so I learned the pattern, went max range and dodged sideways into jump whenever he did the quick 2 in sucession, worked like a charm. ( Important that u dodge the circles SIDEWAYS, never backwards/forward)THat's the beauty of the game, there's more than one solution

I broute forced the aoe ground pound by using the health,defense,and lighting med plus the defense buff from the bell and the stance that let you stay high up in the air, and you're telling me all gotta do is find some rocks?
This game needs some serious updates asap and how come everytime i fight normal enemies my stamina is good but when im in a boss fight i roll once and all my stamina is gone

You need to use a combination of dodging and jumping right after. That worked for me avoiding the AOE cause the rocks were all destroyed for me. Still bullshit.
this company surely worked with Sony, and made this game difficult so that you can throw you controller so many times that it forces you to buy another controller
lol he was annoying but i used the clones to dps him to the ground and then i just transformed into that stone holding thing to tank the aoe and then dpsed him before he got a chance to do the aoe again
That lightning strike bs makes this boss a gimmick. Id honestly be ok with his actual combat moves being faster and the lightning easier to jump over. That way if i got shocked its my fault.
Anyone have a white screen when fighting this boss? I literally can’t see his moves or nothing it’s the second boss that’s done that me it’s so annoying
Just transform into Red Tides transformation once the boss uses that electrical spam move. Red Tides transform you into one of those walking Rock mobs and you are literally immortal and cant die.
I just beat this boss in like 4 or 5 tries. He's not that bad once you are in the 30 in levels and do the rock strategy. Tiger Vanguard was way more tough than him. If i came to fight him in the 20 levels this definitely would've been harder. Still his environment is kinda annoying to fight in

took me 2 or 3 tries and i didn't even used the rock, if you want to dodge the wave you have to do a mix of jumping and rolling in the good order.

Seems like an intentional mechanic if you ask me because it’s damn near impossible without standing on one of the many rocks in the arena
Good bosses have certain gimmicks too like using the arena to your advantage is just good design

If you time it right, when he slams you can jump and when he does the quick slam you jump roll jump, or just jump on the rock
