    A couple things that might help, for the first couple of stats if you match stats on the main champion to the spouse champion you can save vigor. Every time you drop a trait from the giver from 18 down to 1 you lose vigor potential. if you match the other way you lower a trait you’re just going to upgrade later anyway

    • @trevorm492
      @trevorm492 Рік тому +1

      Also any of the new clans cannot be acquired from regular game play (stores, explore, prisoners etc…) so if you’re able to keep their companions green it’s easier to block clan traits.

    Morning....
    If you're new. Try to keep a 1 star companion at green rarity and that will allow you to move traits much easier.
    I would suggest Sallyhorn. Your Gryphon you will want for districts and trait fodder.
    This isn't necessary, but will be a HUGE ring saver in the future especially if you're f2p and don't buy bouquets and rings.
    They frontload resources in this game and they dry up around mid game.
    Yes Rage said all of this but it's so important it needs to be repeated.
    ......This is what wins games....

      Problem with making the Gryphin mythic is that you have very few tank materials, so if you keep Sally the only trait fodder it will overlap with your already limited tank materials, which is really bad news. I did a huge mass ascension upgrade not too long ago, and Sally fodders run out in no time flat and I couldn't ascend my tank(s) properly. And I was already using the Gryphin as trait fodder.

    regarding the vigor farm - I'm doing pretty much what you said, but with a slight adjustment: if I have a vigor 5 or 6 Travain it usually ends up capping one stat without gain, that's when I either flip who I'm marrying or build up a second vigor 5/6 character to marry. With level 22 traits on Travain's it takes 3 marriages to hit vigor 5 (sometimes 6 depending on the rolls).
    Then just marry those champions that already have 5/6 vigor together and you can save on rings for a vigor 20 fodder. I had done the math before and it took me roughly 15 marriages for ~level 20.
    I might have to double check but that's how I've been doing it ever since I worked out how that system works. And yes, it's all about the 'overfilling' of the stat bars that ends up costing you a ton of champions

    • @Phate698
      @Phate698 Рік тому +2

      when you open the royal hall, if you lock all your main champions usually the champion with the highest vigor will be close to the top. hit the "choose their spouse" box first click the champion you've been using to build visor and marry to a fresh hero the new hero will then get all the vigor plus the regular vigor. then take the champion you just made use it as the spouse and marry to a new hero. This way vigor is always going to a hero with no vigor blocks. If you have a really bad ratio of males to females you can feed the side that has fewer so that you're trading into a 3 vigor champion.

    I'd like to add my own approach:
    DO NOT ever go for the clan trait as the 1st, 2nd or 3rd trait you want to transfer. ALWAYS leave it as the last trait. Reason being is, if you only transfer a single clan trait and use the normal traits in the other 3 slots, which in my case is Energetic, Brutal and Fierce, you can guarantee all of the traits without gambling.
    If you transfer the clan trait before you fix all the other NORMAL traits, you will have to waste your ascension materials (contrary to leaving it last, which only uses 1), which in the case of a 3 star champion can get a little too pricey. Or you'll have to gamble like in the above case. Now it may not sound bad at first, but you also have to take into consideration that for the second round of gambling, you'll still have to marry SOME of the traits to the spouse to increase your chances to get the trait you want, which in the long run will cost you more rings.
    The only problem with my approach is that you need more trait fodder and things like energetic, brutal and fierce will be running low if you are fixing multiple champions in quick succession. If you wish to transfer 2 clan traits, I would still advise to go for the normal traits first, then depending which other clan traits you want, go for the more common one. It gets more complicated for sure, but wastes the least amount of resources.
    Oh and I forgot to mention. When you are selecting the spouses that you want to transfer traits from, make sure you pick the ones that have the most matching traits by default or will end up with them. For example if a spouse already has 2 of the 3 common traits you generally want: energetic, brutal and fierce, or has all of them, you want them to go 2nd or 3rd or even maybe 4th. Spouses that only have 1 of the above, but otherwise have 1 or multiple other matching traits should go 1st or 2nd, depending of course on the number of matchings. It is a bit tedious at first, but will save some resources in the long run.

    • @Phate698
      @Phate698 Рік тому

      I find it easier to put clan traits on first, starting with the one that's easiest to find a green copy. if you're using the 1 star feeder clan method to get your 22 level brutal and energetics, you're only sacrificing a 1 star mythic champion which you were probably going to sac for vigor any way. if the trait doesn't go I say thanks for the vigor and try again. also it allows you to use up you one star greens with cutthroat to match the crap traits you haven't switched yet.

    • @Nighthunter6666
      @Nighthunter6666 Рік тому

      @@Phate698 If you put on the clan trait first, you can't guarantee the other traits or have to sacrifice ascension fodders. And it's not like people are always swimming in hundreds of max level common traits to gamble away. As per my personal experience, the amount of times I gambled successfully is reall, really low...
      And sure, a 1 star trait fodder is cheap, but then again, can you guarantee you'll get the trait you want? Can you guarantee it will be max level? Can you guarantee your gamble will be successful? It will be just more time consuming and eating away resources for no reason.
      Yes, yes you want vigor anyway, does that mean you want to put a ton of vigor on the character right away? Not necessarily.

    • @trevorm492
      @trevorm492 Рік тому +1

      I agree with you if you’re trying to get everything in one shot, I used that method early on. I consider 3 stars ascension fodder and 1 stars vigor fodder. I’ll make a stack of 1star mythic gryphons anything that has the trait I’m looking for gets a chance to pass it on. Anything that doesn’t get used in the vigor grinder, if it doesn’t work I make a new batch. I never use a 3 star unless I’m transferring a clan trait.

    • @RagepandaONE
      @RagepandaONE  Рік тому +1

      I would say this is splitting hairs. Both methods come to the same result.

    On transferring traits and Vigor... it *can* make a difference. if your champion has 1 lvl 22 trait, but the others are 20 that champion will give *slightly* less vigor than a champion with all lvl 22 traits. The transfer itself does *NOT* affect vigor level, *but* if you do transfer the traits that means the new champion will give slightly more vigor to who they marry when used as vigor fodder.
    This makes NO difference if you just keep marrying a non-vigored champion in for the vigor, but if you "chain" your vigor gains it can make a noticeable benefit.
    i.e. if you take a champion and marry 7 warriors with lvl 20-22 traits, you will often end with between 8 to 10 vigor level. But if you chain the marriages (marry fodder A to fodder B, fodder C to D, then AB to CD, while transferring higher lvl traits) the end vigor level is 9 or 10... you will only get 8 if VERY very unlucky. It does take more work (as your marriages will try to use the previous 'block traits' to increase chances of getting the higher lvl trait) and it is a VERY small benefit (usually 1%-3% difference in stats) but it can be done...
    basically, the vigor gained is based entirely off the TOTAL of all trait levels (plus current vigor of fodder). So, a 0 vigor w/ all lvl 22 traits (110 total) tank gives health 18662-27993, attack 335-504, fortitude 126-190... but the same champion w/ two lvl 22 and two lvl 20 traits (106 total) gives: health 18144-27216, attack 327-491, fortitude 122-184. since this gives a randomized stat boost. Once a champion has vigor it becomes more difficult to see the changes as the vigor numbers gained factor in as well, but it is still clear that the trait lvls matter, but transferring traits for a vigor farm ONLY matters *if* you are doing chained marriages.
    As far as which is better, chained marriages or 0 vigor fodder marriages... that's all luck, as the amount of vigor from chained marriages has a higher minimum and higher average, but lower maximum than the equivalent number of 0 vigor fodder marriages, but the 0 vigor marriages can get you higher (by as much as 30% higher) *if* you get lucky and get the higher stat boosts each marriage, but you also risk as much as 20% lower increase (for large marriages, about 30) than a chained marriage.

    Sorry I am dyslexic and this is confusing already.
