Really missed your shout casting series where you would give tips for the matches submitted. Also your commentary is quite funny, don't know if it's intentional or not 😅
Regarding Breaking Swipe, I can see a nerf for it happening for sure. Mostly because of Steelix. I was a fan of how it was distributed to more squishy mons like Haxorus or Rayquaza (and even Heliolisk this season) to balance out the move. Steelix is just so bulky though that the attack debuffs aren't needed for it to live hits and it could get to more so many Breaking Swipes because of it's bulk. I just wouldn't want it to get nerfed too hard (like old Poison Fang/Icicle Spear pre damage buff.)
Agreed. Breaking Swipe made a lot of sense to have limited distribution on squishy mons cause it's pretty overpowered. I actually had a ton of fun using Haxorus, but now it feels it will only find use in limited cups. I'm a massive Steelix lover, but Breaking Swipes was way too much
Something to note Greedent wins against Bastiodon in all even shielding scenario. This pokemon is just absurdly spammy like as spammy as Greninja but boy this pokemon just so very annoying to go against as well because 4 Mudshot into a Body Slam and with it's typing and moveset there is really nothing that hard walls Greedent other than a Mawile or Carbink charge move wise. Struggles against fighters or counter users but is still able to fight back and deal quite decent damage before going down. Absolutely would recommend this pokemon this season. Steelix is also amazing as well and Swalot is such a funny pick because so many people running Gligar underestimate the moveset because they do not know it has Ice Beam!
@@kchanz8300 It is double super effective yes but the fact is you also deal neutral with crunch also a chance to drop defense. And since Mudshot damage does add up overtime it makes up quite the damage as well.
Please try heliolisk. It's honestly soo much funn to play. I tried medi dewgong and heliolisk. You just gotta keep sheilds for it as a closer. Breaking swipe breaks the meta
@@williamfeng9808 Yeah it can learn SB, also yeah I know Poison Jab wouldn’t be as good. I was just hoping it could have a dynamic moves set, one that’s spammy with mud shot and another that’s oppressive with the stab fast moves. Kinda hoping it would be as oppressive as like Nidoqueen with poison jab or something idk 😭.
can someone rate my gl team lanturn (spark surf and thunder) gligar(wing attack and dig) and umbreon(snarl psychic and foul play) any better pokemon better for this team
This is a good team, I would change Thunder for T-bolt, do you have enough Dust and candy for Gligar's 2nd charge move? Nice spice for that Umbreon. Do you only have 1 Umbreon for GL or do you have more?
Honestly steelix seems a bit overhyped on this meta. Breaking swipe and dragon tail having no STAB makes it basically reliant on landing EQs to get any damage and it’s so bait dependent that it seems like stunfisk is still a better ground/steel type IMO even with the nerf
@@Zek95 it would obviously benefit more in the ultra league given that there are less counters to it there and thats a league where bulk is more important (at least IMO), but in the great league its damage output is too low, even as a shadow.
I feel like non-shadow is better, as the longer steelix stays in, the more any battle swings in its favour. Being a bulky boy with a slowish fast move makes the shadow unlikely to secure quick knockouts before opponents fire off moves anyway.
Magical leaf and triple axel tsareena video when 👀

One of my favorite things was using ice beam with swalot against flyers and they don't shield cuz they just don't know
Something to note

mud shot 2x super effective against bastiodon🤣

I wouldn't mind having a Medicham-less season. Give the other fighters a chance in the sun. There's so many to choose from.
Cheers for the shoutcast @JonkusPKMN thanks for the tips with the game I lost to the Granbull
Is it worth building my rank 1 Swalot
in ul is regular or shadow steelix better now?

I ran into so many g.stunfisk with it :/ but im loving it
Tried it. Used deoxys dewgong & heliolisk. Lots of hard counters and walls after rank 2.
@Joekool88 yeah did the same team from zyoink and too many medichams. Using 2 medi counters now... fuck medicham
Would be cool if Swalot got access to shadow ball, also if it got access to poison jab to have fast move pressure
Poison jab would be a downgrade to mud shot lol, and can it even learn shadownball in the games?
@@williamfeng9808 yeah it gets Shadow ball in the msg. Shadow ball or EQ would be cool on Swalot imo.

I was playing swalot before this video and worker really well for me
I'd really love to hear the german names for more pokemon.
Is the shadow version of steelix actually better?
Since in pvpoke the normal Version is higher ranked
I’m running Gunk Shot on my Swalot as a surprise nuke.
It was time this became good.. kind always had the bulk
Giving it shadowball would be wild
possible showcase of your swalot deez team 👀👀
They should take the auto debuff and give it a percentage chance to make it less OP

I love running Steelix with double debuffs meaning double pain
We need Jonkus to do a video in German

Wait for the Ultra League to come, and comment this again

wow I had a pvp swalot but decided to make him candy at the beginning of the year
Is steelix as normal or shadow stronger as a closer?

sludgy boi finally meta
This is a team I wouldn't want to play against, if for no other reason than the battle would probably take forever.
Why shadow Steelix doesnt have red eyes 😭😭 they should change it
Shadow ball swalot or else
Mir fehlt es an deinen Videos. Könntest du bitte die Häufigkeit der Veröffentlichungen erhöhen?👍
This guy always wants to nerf things
Talking about nerfs already, give it a rest, you’d have every charge move doing zero damage
First like and comment.
