Interesting to watch this bit of aerospace history. As a recent engineering graduate, I was a member of LMSC launch operations from 1959 to 1969. We launched Agena’s on Thors, Atlas, and Titan boosters. I still have my 100th Agena launch pin. It was a great time.
It's a pity the Agena-2000 was never developed and put into production otherwise we'd have seen the return of the Atlas-Agena with the Atlas V as the first-stage.
The Agent upper-stage is a grossly under appreciated rocket-stage that played a significant role in US spaceflight.

I don’t know how I missed this one! I totally LOVE Agena!
Cool watching this as my Grandfather worked on the Agena project. He worked for lockheed as an instruments specialist .
My mom worked on the agena at Bell Aerospace in Niagara Falls. She talks about nylons melting during tests
MY dad was there also at that time. Dad was Chief Test Pilot on the Bell X-22A. Your mom likely knew my dad.
Wow, it's technically true to say that Gemini 8 and the Agena docked. But all Hell broke out afterwards!!
0:43, yeahhh, Sunnyvale doesn't look like THAT anymore!!
