The intro hit the nail on the head! Thank you for this video. When I worked in corporate product photography for hobby lobby. The Senior photographer used 1 light set ups with half a dozen Vflats to light the scenes. It makes such a beautiful soft light.

V FLAT WORLD is basically taking hardware store type or craft foam and gaffer tape and merely assembling better. I could build equally nice from Home Depot or craft stores, and just cutting precise and painting surfaces with flat paints. Then adding adhesive velcro. Maybe $75 per flat to do it nicely. Gallon paints with pre-primer would be the way to go, and rolling on the paint.

There are pros and cons either way. A few years ago it made sense to create our own. Now I don't have the time and would gladly pay for the convenience of not having to do the work myself.

Yeah technically you can build your own car too but depends on if you have the wherewithal, the skill and time… or is your time better spent marketing, getting clients, processing photos etc. I just bought a set of the V flats and I mostly do video but they’re going to be quite useful, and exactly… look professional not like some rat eaten unsmooth piece of crap that I have actually seen at other colleagues photo studios who did make them themselves. I mean jeesh we charge our clients a lot of money for our craft at least we can do is make it look like that money is deserved

Was expecting a comparison and actually getting to inspect their product. Wasn't too into staring at this guy's face telling me I'm a frugal bastard after 9 minutes

Sorry about that! That's a rough face to look at for any amount of time let alone 9 minutes! We will fire him immediately and you will be issued a full refund. Let us know your venmo and we will send you your refund.

THE COMMENT AT THE END LOL OMG. I've been looking for something that is a little more manageable than bringing my entire studio down from the basement into my garage and this might fit the bill!

You can DIY v flats that have all the same features, abilities, and attractiveness as vflatworld, then take the money you saved and buy vflatworld’s duoflats.

Useless video.. maybe you didn't know how to make a proper one. There are some videos out here that make superior DIY vflats than the original vflats and are more durable.
If you see the reviews of original vfkats you will see a letter from vflat world reps thar the vflats are not designed to last longer than 6 months.
Seriously $400 for foam boards that don't last longer than 6 months?? I will watch a better video
