My favorite festivals are (1) Old Time Christmas, (2) Bluegrass & BBQ, (3) Harvest Festival/Pumpkins in the City. But anytime is a good time to go to SDC.
Old Time Christmas will always be Jayme's first choice. Paul likes the summer festivals better because he enjoys the water rides and things of that nature with the kids.
@@BransonFamVlog My kids are older and don't go with me anymore. The wife doesn't enjoy SDC as much as I do, so I'm almost always there by myself. It can be a little lonely, but I get to do whatever I want, so there is that. LOL!

Us too. Unfortunately, we were in our busiest time of year for work. We both coach a fall sport. Our nephews are playing high school football and one is a senior, so we try to get to his games when possible. Then our son plays college football so that takes up our Saturdays in the Fall. Pretty much we have Sundays kind of open sometimes 🤣. We are hoping to get ahead on the Christmas stuff though.

Never been to Silver Dollar City
SDC is Jayme's happy place. (Well, SDC and beaches on the ocean). Her grandparents worked at SDC when she was little and they are the absolutely sweetest human beings to ever grace God's green Earth. So, it has and will always be a place that is very dear to Jayme. Now, Jayme's aunt currently works at SDC. So our girls get a similar experience when they get to go visit their Great Aunt. She is also an absolutely amazing human being. So I bet our girls will have a special place in their hearts for SDC just like Jayme does.
