I just realized that Gojo was the singer for the original Pretty Cure theme song, while Kanako was the singer for Hugtto’s OP. This song is literally a blend between the original and current generations of Pretty Cure. 🤗
Honestly, if there ever is an idol themed season, Mayumi and Kanako would make the perfect duo for it. Sadly, Kanako already voiced a lead character in DokiDoki and I don’t think Toei would allow her to have another role even though she is one of the most recurring songstresses in the franchise

I have a better color scheme than the current one. Gojo should get hot pink referencing Cure Black. Miyamoto should get purple referencing Cure Sword. I think Miyamoto is the only OP singer that also ever voiced a Cure, so her character should be referenced when suitable.
