Van Tom is a 49.80m Heesen superyacht, launched in 2018 and built to a design by Omega Architects. Van Tom is the sixth hull in a series of eight, extremely popular design with huge appeal.
This fast semi-displacement motor yacht is constructed in aluminium and was commissioned by an experienced owner who made multiple improvements to the standard specification. Built under the close supervision of the owner’s team, Van Tom has been maintained in accordance with ABS class.
There’s accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins. The configuration comprises a master suite, full-beam VIP, two guest doubles and two twins. Separate accommodation is provided for a complement of up to nine crew.
Van Tom has a custom interior by Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini that is modern and contemporary. As well as the main saloon lounge, Van Tom has a fantastic sky lounge and a spacious sun deck that’s setup for socialising with a Teppanyaki grill and a Jacuzzi. There’s another seating area forward of the wheelhouse and a spacious area to aft on the upper deck.
A state-of-the-art audiovisual system runs throughout, all controlled by a user-friendly interface from a tablet device.
Van Tom has a 23-knot top speed, a cruising speed of 20-knot, and a range of 3,100nm at her 11-knot economical speed.
Built in accordance with MCA, an owner could choose to operateVan Tom’s commercial status and benefit from her charter appeal. Offered for sale by her original owner with low engine hours and only used privately to date, Van Tom has recently completed her 5-year class survey and is in immaculate condition.
