  • In today’s video I will be trying Ethiopian Hair Butter. I'm also going to show you how to make it. If you lack moisture and want to bring strength back into your hair, try this.

      @@cindychristian1700 you wash your hair just like any other day. After leaving it in for at least a couple of hours.

    Finally found my hair twin!!! I use this butter all the time, I also ferment it leave it in a warm place for 2 days(max) and mix it with yogurt, sour cream and oat water. It leaves my hair so soft and curls defined.

    I randomly stumbled onto on your video! I’ve been using this butter for a few weeks now, and I love it. The smell, not so much, so I add essential oils! Great video, new sub!

      Which oils because I used rosemary oil and it made it stink horribly so I made it earlier without anything just the heavy cream and purified water no horrible smell at all and I have it in my hair right now waiting lol

      @@isblessed5785 sorry for the late response! I use citrus based ones, I found that they cut the smell a little better. I use orange essential oil and a tangerine/citrus blend essential oil. I got both of them from Aldi, but you can also find cheaper essential oils at Indian supermarkets.

    I just found your video! I made my butter very simple purified water & heavy cream smells good unlike when I listened to another who added rosemary oil which made it stink horribly ugh lol

      I didn't add anything to it. It's not bad at all. The butter has a strong smell, that all. Hopefully you found the video helpful.

      I would just use the butter as it is, keep is as pure as possible. I haven’t tried that, but you can if you want. And thanks

      @@kandisesummers8332 Yes, you can use UNSALTED butter too instead of making it with whipping cream. EthioBelle on YT used that.

    Hi! I live in europe (Portugal) and here we dont have heavy cream,can i use creme fraiche or whipping cream instead?

      Yes, you can use whipping cream.

      Yes use whipping cream with the highest fat%, like 35 and up.

      You can use it how often you want it. It doesn't matter.

      @@BeingBennetGreen thank you For your answer No whippendcream /Butter but when i whased Out With Shampoo and conditioner .my Hair stinky on whippendcream 😳

      @@sanaafathi7106 I use bentonite clay to wash it out. There is a little smell but I deep condition after so the smell is not so noticeable. Or you could add mint leaves/ essential oils when blending the cream.
