Now the new impact is a lot better...anthem has done a fine job with taking a company that was pretty much dead and using new younger talent and now they got a much more solid program...
@@juliusrage1987 Crowd was pretty decent compared to the DA era this week from what I could see. Even got a couple this is awesome chants. But it was my first time watching impact in ages. So maybe it just felt more lively.
It's been so long since I've watched wrestling on TV (due to working from 3PM to 11PM at my job), that I don't recognize anyone in Impact anymore. I stopped watching near the beginning of the Aces & Eights stable. I don't recognize anyone there anymore, and they aren't drawing my attention. Sting left to be destroyed in WWE, Christian left the place that made him a main event player to go back to WWE again, and was promptly demoted to the mid-card and THEN destroyed, Abyss left for a backstage role in WWE and hasn't even appeared as Abyss there despite a potential Abyss VS. Kane dream match when Kane makes his once in a while returns, Jeff Jarrett was in TNA, then he left to found Global Force Wrestling, then merged GFW with Impact, then had that merger undone for... (... Why? Drunk? Who gives a shit...) and then went back to WWE despite owning a new promotion and isn't doing a fucking thing with it, not even announcing that it's defunct, and the face of TNA, AJ Styles, left the place that made him huge, left for some reason... Who the hell is there? Everyone there now looks the same: boring. And why does the current Impact set look so minimalist compared to how it looked in the Impact Zone? It looks like it's an indie show. Why did they ditch the 6-sided ring that made TNA unique despite the shit stain that hated it, Hulk Hogan, not being there anymore? Why does the backstage filming style look obviously like it was filmed weeks earlier despite being presented to the crowd as though it's happening right there? It should look live, not pre-filmed.
@@Maxx_XIII LOL @ the idea of a Kane-Abyss dReAm mAtcH. I can live the rest of my days without seeing Chris Abyss wrestle, Considering how much dumb stuff he did in-ring, I'm shocked he was hired as a backstage producer.
Great list. But to be honest, it’s easier to name all the dumb things TNA got wrong or messed up than to name things they did right. Which is sad considering all the tremendous talent they had on the roster. Oh well. Long live the current Impact Wrestling. They are great!
Sorry to be commenting on a video from over a year ago, but I only just found out about your channel. Another dropped angle that you didn't cover in the vid involved Joseph Park/Abyss. Shortly after Joseph started appearing on TV, he was attacked by someone wearing Abyss' costume. We later learned that Joseph & Abyss were one and the same, so who the hell was dressed as Abyss that attacked Joseph? A week after the attack, it was never brought up again.
Seeing Sonjay Dutt getting released from WWE and joining the AEW team and seeing him on this list made me feel somewhat happy for him that he immediately found a company.
As a impact fan...if I have to say a terrible storyline? The Clara lynch storyline when AJ styles supposed to been a father of some random female baby and Christopher Daniels was supposed to been blackmailing him wewwww I'm so glad Hogan and flair not booking any promotion ...and don't get me start on Russo please
The history of TNA is the story of a promising company with hungry, young wrestlers that were saddled with the _WORST_ storylines in history and chronic on-screen power struggles.
Not only did I attend the ladder match with the engagement ring dangling but I helped promote the card with interviews from the lovable Angelina Love and Kevin Nash 🚛 I enjoyed your interviews with Rave and Magnus. Would be cool if you could land a few others - perhaps to accommodate your Ring of the Hawk series? Just a thought. Keep up the good work, or I'll smack you one 🤚
Oh matt morgan.....the most disappointing big man of pro wrestling...he was athletic for his size and the time he reached around the halfway point of his tna career he could have been a good monster heel champion...but we had to have over the hills stars with the title...i mean aj styles had to drop the title to rvd on impact...not even on ppv...after rvd had a decent match with jeff hardy at the start of impact so good job bringing in a much older star outta the blue and making the man who put tna/impact on the map...just as sting was to wcw and hogan in 80s wwe...aj was the face of tna...jarrett may have founded the company but it was aj styles who carried it....hmmmm...i wonder why aj left...hint...dixie carter...she eveb almost practically had him back in like 2016...ran her mouth and advertised before it was a done deal...ima guess it remindes aj why he left cause he and gallows and anderson debuted in wwe shortly after...and i remember gallows and anderson being advertised in the tna site also...smh...tna...or wcw 2.0
Also it was rumoured Russo wanted to also write Joe off TV as a fuck you to Jim Cornette who had recently left the company since Samoa Joe was one of the guys Cornette was always trying to get a major push. So once Jim left Russo in some petty move to get back at him wrote Joe off TV with no plans for him going forward
It's so sad, as Jay Bradley was one of the most appreciated wrestlers in OVW before he was called by TNA, and he never recovered, not even here. Though, that seems like it may be changing due to his spot in Legacy of Brutality, and helping Cash Flow win Nightmare Rumble.
"Return of an old TNA Legend" TNA literally has no Legends other than Styles, Angle & Sting. These other "Legends" were WWE Legends way past their primes.
What the hell is jive talking. I have no memory of that whatsoever. The others just fizzled away quickly. Just afterthoughts that didn’t really go anywhere. May I add gunner and Samuel shaw. Such a slow build to their bromance and then all gone
Apparently the Sonjay Dutt, Socal Val, and Jay Lethal storyline was a mimic of the Hulk Hogan, Miss Elizabeth, and Randy Savage Storyline in WCW
I always wondered what shark boy looked like without his mask
I feel like Im the only one who really liked Morgan. I thought he could of been a really big star if they just committed to the push.
I agree, they dropped the ball with The Blueprint
I liked Morgan
I agree
totally misused
Eddiward Johnsiones , yup
Nation of violence was a bloody good theme song though
i like how youtube recomends me this chanell because i watched some TNA videos
I hope you're enjoying it and thanks for the comment!

But the crowds are all dead for the shows. To me its almost as bad now as the Destination Discovery era.

AJ Styles first title win
Main Event Mafia (original)
The start of Aces and Eights (til Bully reveal)
AJs return vs Ace and Eights
The X division

Probably Luke Gallows dressed as Abyss 😆

What about when Hogan came on TNA & said he was going to war with WWE
What about my videos where I cover thre TNA V WWE raw in Full episode by episode ;)
So Cal Val was obviously suppose to be Ms Elizabeth to Jay Lethal Randy Savage
If TNA was a movie it would be the sequel to the last years of WCW.

In storyline, Jackie got fired from Planet Jarrett because she "was dumb enough to get pregnant" and no longer of use to the faction
