Arthur, thank you so much for your videos! I am new to jets. I watched your K8 video, then bought one. I installed a SAFE receiver. I am now flying w/o SAFE. I love how you react to both the good and bad comments. I love how you speak the truth. Again, thx for all you do. Keep’em coming!!!
Oh that’s super kind thanks my friend !!! I really appreciate ! Yes I try to be the most objective in every plane and accessoires I bought or I’ve been given ! Thanks again and enjoy your K8 🥳
It's very interesting that you have a 4000mAh battery, you have lead weights in the tail.. .and it's still nose heavy. I'm very happy that I cancelled my order for the 8S model and changed to the 6S model ... there would be no way to get a good balance with an 8S pack unless you put a brick in the tail.
Good save , Arthur. That could have been bad but you pulled it off. Looks like it doesn’t like being inverted. You are brave for trying it on the maiden (kinda) flight. Great job! Greetings from Detroit Michigan USA!
Thanks my man ! Yes maybe she doesn’t like inverted because of the draggy ordnance…but that’s also nose heavy as f*#k 😂😂😂 Oh Detroit, I love that city 🥰 one day I’ll go visit ! But first I’ll go to Atlanta Georgia
A bientôt.
Yeah had that happen on a Freewing F5 on takeoff. Fortunately I was about 100' off the ground when it happened and I was able to make a right hand turn at cruisng speed before the fan imploded from ingesting more wire. I pointed the nose down and landed with gear up, barely made it! Great flight, I am a bit concerned about the nose heavy condition and having to add weight, maybe a lighter battery although 4000mah is pretty light already?
Yeah well save buddy !!!! I say in the video the weight of my lipo…690g and it’s really light yes so lead in the rudder is the thing to do…remove the pilot also but I won’t
Hi Scott if you want to watch a Tuto video, I’ve posted one to compare a nose heavy jet and a neutral one ! But to sum up when you dive at 45 degres angle without throttle, you release the sticks and if the plane climbs on its own very quickly it’s nose heavy, but if it keeps its descent rate and you have to pull up it means neutral CG, and if the plane goes down even steeper to vertical it’s tail heavy ! ua-cam.com/video/s4zjEi_VTO4/v-deo.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE

Fantastic save Arthur! I'm not sure how or when u noticed the exact problem as you were in French mode at the time! How did you tell there was an issue? U landed quickly and safely considering it was ur maiden landing!! Skills and signs its a good jet/CG. Looks like you love the jet. Shame about the burner as it did look awesome 💜 as you took off. Good effort mate 👍🏾
Thanks buddy 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I heard a strange noise and I knew something went into EDF… But don’t worry tomorrow I’ll post 3rd flight with afterburner and huge high alpha 🥳🥳🥳
@@ArthurRC glad you're coming back with a vengeance! Looking forward to seeing you put this through its paces. Esp the KMRC too as iv been waiting months for the release of these multi colour one (love my 5280 bluefire). I'm thinking maybe a heavier metal shroud fan, say FMS 1850KV and using 7s lipos might do the trick for a little more boost and little more tail weight? The esc will take it as its 8s capable.
@@M4rkmcc21 i love my KM AB that’s so beautiful and easy to set up 🥰 but if you run 7S you’ll have too much weight lipo in the front…I would use light lipo and a bit of lead in rudder I think
Painfully nose heavy even with a lightweight pack... Can't believe they designed the battery bay so poorly after the original over 10 years ago was much more flexible. 🤕 The nose gear bulkhead should've been removed and the EDF position should've been further aft.
@Arthur-RC Agreed... They made the same tragic mistake with the Gripen as well... All 90mm planes should be able to have vast cg flexibility with 5000-6000mAh as a mandatory design requirement. Especially on a delta that prefers an aft cg. Such a shame as the quality, fit and finish is amazing on this new release.
I agree...this happens too often with EDF models, with designed CG too upfront! except the Eflite Viper 90 and Freewing L39, my prefered jets...Freewing vectored SU35 not bad either, and new vectored red Mig29 is on the ramp for maiden when weather will improve!
Oui ça va mais c’est quand même trop avant à mon goût mais je ne veux pas encore ajouter du plomb donc je ne sais pas quoi faire…peut-être ajouter encore 10gr de plomb…
Question d'un néophyte.
No because at the book CG is very very nose heavy and I like to fly my jets at neutral CG…I’m now 30mm behind wings CG marks and it’s still a bit nose heavy with around 150g of weight in the tail

Arthur, would I be able to set up the reverse thrust on this EDF using an 8 channel receiver and transmitter ?
Yes sir 😇 Rx 7 channels minimum (throttle, elevons x2, rudder (mix with nose steering wheel), gear, airbrake, reverse)
8:12 there is no such thing as a 'dive test'.!!!
because, the outcome is DETERMINED by the Elevator TRIM, as much as by the cg location.!!!!
I did inverted flight test and it was nose heavy as hell and same for climbing upside 45 degres……
