I've never worked an A320 (we used to get them, according to some of my colleagues, but now we just get 737s), but this game for the most part looks very realistic to how we actually operate. The main thing that's off is the marshalling, which is understandable, I think it's probably difficult to replicate it without another player in the cockpit. And humans aren't the easiest thing to animate. Another thing we do that I wish the game would enforce is 15-5 stops, stop the vehicle 15 feet and then 5 feet from the plane to check that the brakes work and you won't hit the plane if you need to stop quickly. Of course, you also don't have a guide person, so...meh. It's also weird to me that the nets were already down when you entered the pit, but again, I've never worked an A320, so I don't know how they work. Also, that box you were unsure of that you guessed was for refuelling: I'm pretty sure that's an ASU (Air Start Unit), which we only ever use if the APU fails for some reason. The engines on most planes are started with bleed air from the APU, but if that can't be accessed, the ASU will spin the engines externally so they can be started. Once one engine is started, that engine's bleed air can be used to start the other one, so we can disconnect the unit and push the plane back so no-one is in the way of a running jet engine. Oh, and the reson it's night: you were servicing two RON aircraft ("R"emain "O"ver"N"ight). See if there are turns available in the missions, I think there are. Those should also be interesting, since if they are there, you should be given access to a pushback tug, as well.
Awesome! I came home from work at the airport to watch Frantic’s new video about working at the airport😃
