Tuomas is a musical wizard with the mind of a scientist and the heart of a poet.
Every album of Nightwish is better then the previous one. If you feel the rage to disagree - you obviously are at the beginning of the road. Please, take a moment, listen to them. It is so clear. You need to hear the growth in it. How can't you people, even now rise above the self centered desires and opinions about the music of this magnificent band? After years of being a regular fan I now feel like I live in some magical era in which they compose. The mix of emotions they bring is one of a kind, music is monumental and volatile, also just bits of electricity in your headset, bluetooth radio waves, pointless vibration of air, a scratch on vinyl surface, a subjective sensation in your brain that you can't really compare with anyone. Just enjoy. I enjoy the music so much I am all just thankful.
Good health for them, present, past and future members, that's all I wish for. Advice for the band? Never listen to advice.
Tuomas Holopainen is one of the greatest songwriters of the last 25 years, and he is not afraid to tackle every aspect of music, rock, metal, epic, folk, symphonic. A true genius.
Well put
Will be remembered in history books (Wikipedia) as one of the greatest musical masterminds, composers, poets and songwriters of 21st century.
That's the true, he is the
best songwriter, he is a genius.
B3átles
He’s not just a songwriter…He’s a Composer
Am I the only one completely in tears the last 3 minutes? Tuomas Holopainen doesn't get the recognition he deserves. His music gave me strength during all the hard times in my life and this album came at the right time.
Same for me....the way he is able to bring out emotions through his music blows my mind. Many nightwish songs have brought tears to my eyes but with this one as soon as Carl Sagan's quote ended I full on wept until the end....it was sadness and bliss felt in perfect harmony....excuse my language but it was fucking intense
Could not agree more.
Hello Kirsten...this Album is the lovestory for tears-----They run and run and run, what's that means???
@@wernerpratz5673 Tuomas composes with all his emotion and we can feel it. It opens you up to things you wouldn't have paid attention to years ago. Thanks to his music I'm living in the moment and I love it. Don't forget crying isn't a bad thing ;-)
i remember hearing Lappi and thinking "a 9 minute epic?! they can't top this".
then along came another album, and Ghost Love Score, "a 10 minute epic?! they can't top this!"
then along came yet another album, and Poet and Pendulum, "13 minutes?! ok this is it! we've reached epic perfection."
but Greatest show on Earth came along like "hold my beer...for TWENTY FOUR MINUTES."
and yet again Toumas has found away to outdo himself with this 31 minute MASTERPIECE!
i half expect the next album to just be one (extremely epic) song! XD
I am officially addicted to this pure magical masterpiece. Someone needs to introduce Tuomas to Hans Zimmer or Ramin Djawadi.
They know who Tuomas is already.
Hans Zimmer and Tuomas are best friend.
Can't stop listening to this incredible gift brought by an incredibly gifted musician. Just close your eyes and drift away. Breathtaking...
Vast beauty of music in one man's mind, on this pale blue dot.... We were here... "Man, he took his time in the sun, Had a dream to understand, A single grain of sand, He gave birth to poetry, But one day'll cease to be, Greet the last light of the library"...
"The universe is intractable, astonishingly immune to any human attempt at full knowledge. We cannot on this level understand a grain of salt, much less the universe." -Carl Sagan
If you haven't done it already, you must try listening to this on a set of good quality headphones in surround sound. Incredible.
Sean bickford......yes....only the second person to realize or try this.....l have been doing for many months.
I love it. I listen to it on my ridiculous cerwin Vega system with jbl 18” subs and 4 Yamaha rack mounted amps in my man cave or on my alpine system in my truck or on my Bose headphones. I have listened to it at least once a day since I first found it. This guy is a genius, like Thomas Bergersen, or James Newton Howard. In my opinion. I’ve been the music industry for over 50 years. Concert promotion’s to dj and bands. I can’t play a single note but know excellent music when I hear it. This movement actually moves my soul. I can’t wait to get home to hear it again. And have told many of my friends to give it a try. I really enjoy Nightwish and their hard rock. But this is above and beyond. I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up in a major movie. Thank you Mr Holopainen! Hope to see you all preform in America.
As I have said numerous times before Tuomas is the Mozart, Beethoven of our time. A musical genius of our time.I will be a fan forever! Any NW fan who doesn't like this has a very narrow idea of his music. If you like this check out AURI.
Tuomas has been taking the thorns out of my soul for the last fifteen> years. I don't know if I'd still be alive without him.
Gänsehaut pur!Fabelhaft komponiert,Tuomas!Super Band und Musiker!👏🎵🎶🎼🎧🎻🎹💓🌱🌳🌲
There are no words to describe this......
I´m overwhelmed. feels like tthis is the truth I found what I´ve been searching my entire life
It's funny how you guys say this isn't a NightWish album, or that he should have released it as a solo album. I'm sure he's losing sleep because you don't feel that it's music of a band that he created, and is of his own. Music was created for people of all types to enjoy and take pleasure in. Regardless of what music gives you pleasure . If your that bored put on something else! An old saying, those that do, Do, those that don't review!
I also declare myself officially addicted to this work by Tuomas.
I cannot understand how it's possible to create such a wonderful masterpiece. It's sounds like a journey through different feelings. Cannot thank them enough for this beautiful trip to emotions...
Just close your eyes and let it take you on the journey...
What's successful about it? It is boring. Can't sit through more than a few minutes.
@@Kalimdor199Menegroth Get away with you!
@@Kalimdor199Menegroth you are more human than nature.... maybe
@@mirkapalkova9387 Nah, I don't have monkey ears, nor suffer from fanboy/girlism.
I know the second cd is not heavy but how angelic is it, amazing.
Yes, when you are a metalhead but still have a heart, Hahaha all I can say is that this is other level of music
This suite (yes, this is a suite) hits me in so many levels...
Danke.
Kaufen.
Danke.
this album is a masterpiece ... what a beautiful composition...... simply WOW !!! 👍🎼🎶🎵👍🌈
I wholeheartedly agree....! o_O
Toumas is a master composer! A rare breed in today's world....
T~T
Excellent ! This is destined to be played on BBC radio 3 . As was Kieth Emerson's Piano Concerto No1. It`s not all Mozart and Handel you know.
The entire composition, gives me chills, much like The Moody Blues' "Knights In White Satin."
Nights in White satin...
never ever before have instrumental music made me tears
Amazing what an Beautiful Master Peace You all Made again With the First start of it i Am totaly in it from the beginning till the end Great job Nightwish Congrats
I checked only after the end of quarantine lockdowns if the album was coming soon, only to see it was released weeks ago and my mall had it
One of the few good days of 2020 lol
Album is lit
Yes this entire album is making 2020 a bit more hopeful and that in the end everything will be OK.
Holopainen is a musical genius.
Real Magic
Really beautiful.
Carl Sagan ?? daaamn ..the whole universe just spoke to me.
the only problem with this is that it isn't longer.
Tuomas is a true genius. That is all lol
Somehow the great masterpiece of the longest song had writed by Tuomas Holopainen. On the 2nd disc at least...
Amazing fantastic work
This is the great playlist for my revision studying session. Thanks, Nightwish!
this is just so beautiful...
My best learning album
Great,great,great......greater....the GREATEst........Beethoven,Mozart,Händel,Monteverdi,Schütz.......etc...etc...etc....love story...
Obrigado pelo trabalho ímpar. Aguardando ansiosamente pelas demais...
Nada é Verdade, Tudo é Permitido, Saudações da Irmandade.
Obrigado por isso!
Am I the only one who thinks that blue is like a game of thrones music
The beginning of Aurorae always reminds me of Hollow Bastion from Kingdom Hearts
"" . All The Works Off Nature Which Adorn Nightwish ...
Excelente trabalho com a tradução! Muito, mas muito obrigado!!
Eu que agradeço Tiago!
I like all the entire piece, Tuomas's mind had a lot of good and big ideas... I think this album is been critized unfairly as a bad album. I think the opossite: This entire album "HUMAN. :II: NATURE." is a good album, maybe not one of the best of Nightwish, but it's really rich and beautiful!!
I especially like the second CD. It has helped me get through the virus crisis as it reminds me to relax and enjoy the beauty and be somewhat contented and happy. I am so thankful this album was created and released :)
Whow I just see a movie but only lissen to music. How they do that.
Muy Mike Oldfield m encanta. Una joyita
Sangrial.
Bitte.
Danke.
doubtful they will play this ever live en total. a scaled down version might be interesting. succeeds about 2/3 of the time for me but when it does, it really does.
Super Werbung 😂
Has anyone found any sheets or guides to play some of these songs? I want to cover some of my favourite moments of this album but i'm kind of a newbie yet, so any help to look up the chords and stuff would help a lot.
If you find some, please let me know, I would love to play this with our band and arrange it.
@@cornetgirl2000 I could only find a web called 'Chordify' where you search the song and you can see the chords while the song is playing. I think it's kind of an automatic analyzer so i wouldn't trust it 100%, but from what i've checked it's pretty accurate on songs like, for example, Ad Astra.
24:10 it sounds like Stargate soundtrack
Beautiful! btw I'm stoned and it hits me at 3:41.
Almost nobody realizes that it's an Double Disc release
probably because noone uses discs. XD
:)
Green by nightwish = life and death theme from TV show lost, played faster
Kaufen.
Danke.
Danke.
How many are your works, Lord!
In wisdom you made them all;
the earth is full of your creatures.
psalm 104
No.
I'm sorry but - no. THIS is boring. The "main" album is okay but this is just unspectacular, nothing special, replacable.
Huge NW fan but to this I can only say... meh.
I kinda feel sorry for you for not being able to feel or understand the power and the complexity of this piece. You can qualify this symphony many different adjectives, but boring is definitely not one of them.
@@DylanComas I guess it comes down to taste. This one just puts me to sleep. Well... maybe that could also be useful at times. At least one positive thing about this part of the album.
@@DylanComas ua-cam.com/video/AdVvWGG8Zc4/v-deo.html
This is from a Portuguese composer who learned to play the piano by himself. Regarding this last part of the Nightwish CD, it is good, but nothing new. It looks more like a solo CD by Tuomas Holopainen
I really feel sorry for you pal.
To me this is the best piece of music I've heard in a while.
I don't know, there is literally nothing happening over almost 30 minutes. Compare this to something like Imaginaerum. Only slightly over 6 minutes long but full of emotions and energy.
This here might aswell be the backgorund music to a random fantasy game or something like that.
