When we say that data segment in virtual address space of a process contains global var, do we mean the every process address space will have the same global var , as the global var should be accessible by all processes.

Every process virtual address space is separate, and any process is not allowed to chime in any other process's virtual address space.

@Andrei V Isn't all process address space is separate from the other process address space? And a user process is not at all allowed to access any other process's virtual address space!!
