I've done this even before i started trading. I remained calm whenever i got into difficult situations because when you are calm, you think better, you learn better you observe better. Worrying or meltdown doesn't solve anything, instead exacerbates the situation. We need to act with EQUANIMITY
This video is EXACTLY what I needed. I just blew my account then began going into introspection mode to figure out where i'm going wrong and I came to the conclusion that i'm "trying too hard", I'm at a point in my journey where its starting to really feel like doing less will equal more, to do that I need to remain 'still', as you talk about in your video using the amazing golf and archery analogies.
yes!!!! doing less will bread better results... less is always more. to a certain degree! obvi if youre just starting out all the chart time in the world is so important... but after a while it becomes too much
Whoa this is imo your best post! It's loaded w golden nuggets! Ive always said to a couple kids that I mentor that money blinds you, focus on the process. Will read this book! Cheers to beautiful holiday trading my Brother!
Lost a trade today. Another set up came up. But I told myself that I'll never trade after a loss or a win. One trade everyday. This helps me manage my revenge instincts. The set up that came after my loss would have hit TP. I am fine. I move on to the next set up tomorrow
You should have been taken it, Read Trading in the Zone. Look, I respect and appreciate that you respect your rules, that's great and very remarkable, but I think that you should look at trading as a business, and to take whatever the good that the Ocean is giving you, if you see that it shows you more than what you was preparing yourself to receive in the first place, then, that's the time when you you should really raise your standards and the level of targets. 😊
@@AhmedElawady97 it's a young strategy, only 3 months old. I need more data so that I understand how it works with more examples. At 6 months old I'll be more comfortable taking 2 trades in a day
I learnt that my edge is the key to my success, just knowing my edge plays out weekly gives me confidence to execute when it presents, I am done chasing a random moves in the market, I am just hunting 90/10 setups only,
I had great focus the last 2 weeks netting +2% and only one trade within that timeframe. However, I woke up today pissing -7,5% in 30mins. No trading, planned pain. I asked myself what did cause me to operate like I did? Not so sure. I currently live with my parents in law and her father had a huge rage about a surprise I did. I really got hurt and I think it is in direct connection to my tilt. Any ideas how I can stop this behavior? Because it’s going down mindlessly
Hey man.. I appreciate you upload a video every week and there are lot of stuff I can relate too.. I am trading from one year now and all I am stuck is just because of indiscipline and limitations that I feed mentally in my brain that's it if I control that part then I am not away from becoming a consistent profitable trader.. Do you agree mack??
Always great content, Mack. I found the one book that completely changed my mindset to losing trades and probability statistics is Trade like a casino, by Richard L. Weissman. If you or your subscribers haven't read or listened to that book, I highly recommend it. Going to check out, Stillness is the key.
Thanks a lot sir mac for this amazing video I love it Firstly you said to be still and careless about the outcome but the process And while you said that the thoughts of trading pays those that careless about the money And I know this but can I ask my struggling to keep the knowledge of knowing this and practicing for it to become subconsciously is there any thing you could recommend one can do I am thinking about a frame of you think better if you not thinking to hard I have experienced it when I pay less attention to the outcome and pay attention to the chart and executions and studying my past trades I get in flow with the chart and make profit

Simple bro, when shits going on in the external, don’t trade. Having a bad day off the charts? Dont trade. This will help a ton
