Howdy Chris, I have an idea for the slippery deck issue. If you go to your local fire department ask them for any old fire hose that is non-usable. Take the hose and cut it down the center to open it up. Lay it out on the trailer deck and then use deck screws to anchor the fire hose to the deck. Either side up should help with traction and you don't really care if it gets torn up or not. If it does get torn up just fix with more deck screws to anchor the ends down. Stay safe!
