I thought you said Paradox Rift "made the list" when you opened it up during a battle video last month and didn't get anything, but I'm super excited for you to open more packs of it again!! I really like the set, and I've gotten one special illustration rare from each of the three booster boxes I bought from a third-party seller on Walmart's website before. Paradox Rift is tough when it comes to pulling regular illustration rares, but I really like the set and its artwork.

i wish tuition was cheaper so i could open this set. it’s genuinely my fav out of SV (yes over paldean fates😂) mostly because of the art rares. they’re stunning in this set. especially that metagross!!! great vid bro
Don't open this set bro... I ain't rich but I had a budget for 3 booster boxes and bought 50 sleeve packs... guess how many SIRs? ZERO, 1 GOLD card which has gone from $30 to $11 in 3 days. I LOVe the artworks and apparently this set is very playable but the economics of it are the most out of whack I've ever seen for a set. Dude you can buy a hyper rare for under $10 OR buy 116 packs to try and maybe pull 1??? Hitting the top card covers 50% of a booster box... this makes NO sense whatsoever and I think it's marking the death of the current Pokemon TCG structure
To top it all off.... it's not like the really rare cards are worth anything yet 3x harder to pull than before. The market is completely broken and no longer following basic economics
@@user-fq8zg6ow4e you make a good point. After seeing how the market is I can totally see that your response is credible. Tbh if I opened this set it wouldn’t be out of hope of an SIR or any rare card. I honestly just love the artworks even on the holos. If I were to open it, it would be more recreational than hoping for certain cards or profits. That being said I’d really probably just open an ETB and anything else would stay sealed. def buying the metagross single if I never pull it tho lol
@dhut I hear ya! I opened cards just for fun too but man it hurts when you get like 20-30% value back ... 50% I can live with but getting absolutely FLEECED on these boxes even at pre release singles prices

I really like the artwork in this set. The pull rates for the sirs are more tough than i would prefer which will limit how much i open.

Iron Crown is getting the traction on nickname "Moon Crown" here in Oceania, That's what people are calling the new Umbreon (Moonbreon) from ES because of the moon in the background with insane artwork AND one of best card in game play. Ehats your thoughts?

That Booster bundle was loaded, you're not gonna see that often, pull rates are pretty tough
This set does have some nice art! The pull rates for the big hitters are going to be a little rough, but that’s fine.

This set is harsh
Cuz... I need you to help me wrap my mind around this as an economics major... basic economics and supply and demand are not seemingly applying to new pokemon sets... how does my Iron Leaves gold card (1 in 116 packs) almost 4 booster boxes to pull 1, go from $30 to $11 in 4 days.... they are ridiculously hard to pull yet worthless? Gonna settle at what $6? I don't understand how or why these cards are now 3x as rare and prices and less than half of sets with higher pull rates? This is also apparently a good set for competitive play so it really makes zero sense to me. Why can I buy a card that takes 116 packs on average to pull, for the price of 3 packs? It...don't....make...no....sense
When you think about the supply of a card, it is at its highest at a sets release. Thousands of these cards are pulled and they all hit the market at the same time. In order to sell, everyone lowers their prices (because they need/want to sell) until it eventually finds its floor of what someone is willing to actually sell it for. As more people have it at release, demand for that card also falls as less people are looking to obtain it. It will eventually correct, but this process is almost inevitable for all new cards from new sets.
