Many Japanese rock and metal songs seem to have positive messages and lyrics, another reason I like a lot of these bands. Peace.
Great reaction. Your faces said it all. Yes, tis band is known for putting a variety of genres into their songwriting machine and what comes out is pure Gacharic Spin. From my understanding this song was written during the covid lockdown and expresses the hopelessness and isolation felt by many, the wondering of what role we as individuals have to play, along with all the nonsense that was happening on social media but also with the hope that the future will be better. This song is an emotional roller-coaster but yes, "This world is so beautiful".
It's hard to find a better rock band than Gacharic Spin. Amazing band!
The next one will surprise you even though you may think you have an idea! They are extremely talented musicians!
They have been around since 2009, and actually predates Babymetal and therefore the concept of "Kawaii Metal" - their music is far too eclectic to fall comfortably into just Metal as well
One of the best bands going, they deserve way more attention than they get
I actually saw them with Robsam, who submitted this request, in Houston a month or so back, one of the best shows I've seen
Next up watch them performing their song "MindSet"
They also have a more metal focused side-project named DOLL$BOXX with Fuki from Unlucky Morpheus on lead vocals
Btw, Gacha Gacha is onomatopoeia in Japanese for clattering, you have probably seen the Gachapon machines where you put in some money, turn the handle and get a random reward dropped out, Gacharic is a word the band coined that suggests the band is a variety of loud sounds where you're never quite sure what you'll get when you spin it
Also they wanted to be able to shorten it to Gachapin, which is the name of a popular children's TV character in Japan - male fans of the band are called Gachaman and female fans Gachapinko
Thank you guys so much for reacting to this request!! And yes Patreon members it’s def worth it so cmon and join us. The name is pronounced GOTCHA but with an an instead of the o and Rick at the end. This band is the greatest live band I’ve ever seen and at 55 I’ve seen everybody multiple times but these ladies are hands down the best live show I’ve ever witnessed. They don’t tour America but have done one off shows at an anime festival in Houston. I flew out to see them and meet them and have never witnessed a greater live show. For more I’d suggest Mindset live which is completely different than this song, or Katchi Katchi Yama for a more recent song. And yes Smokey. They are a perfect amalgamation of every style of music and sometimes all in one song. Glad you guys enjoyed.
In Japan they have what they call Gachapon machines which is their version of our candy machines that you spin the crank to get the capsule out of it and the cranking sound it makes represents what Gacharic Spins sound is and the turning of the crank that's where Spin comes from
Easily the most diverse band I've ever come across, they literally won't fit into any box, and no label can stick to them. Ridiculous talent across the board, and relentless energy. Just fucking love them.

Thanks for reacting to a wonderful yet unappreciated band! I go with "Gotcha" Rick for pronunciation.. Like others here, I met them and saw them perform in Houston this year. Terrific live act. Definitely not kawaii metal. They cover so many genres it's impossible to pigeon hole them. “Ga-cha” rhymes with “Cha-Cha,” and is onomatopoeia for something that moves with a clattering sound (“gacha-gacha”). That leads to “gacha-pon,” the name for the machine that dispenses a plastic capsule containing a prize, after you put in some coins and turn the handle, causing the machine to make that “gacha-gacha” sound.

The name comes from the Japanese word gachapon which the sound a gumball type machine makes. The ha ha part means noise or clattering. They added ic(ric) to make it having the characteristic of noise.
So their name is the taking of their instruments noises and spinning them together into beautiful music…

I would say Pete and Bas - Quick 1-2 is more up their alley. Yet, and Pete & Bas is good.
They are hard to pigeonhole they play and mix a lot of styles from electronic dance rock,hard rock,pop rock,funk,punk,metal,synth pop,etc (lol).Other bands always think if a song fits their band,Gachapin doesn’t,if a song submitted by a member is good they don’t care if it’ll fit or not the album they are writing so sometimes their albums sounds like mixtapes we old folks call them lol,but I think it’s called playlist nowadays.

The name of the band is kinda a joke.
In Japan you have "trophy machines" with balls with a toy inside called "gashapon"

You put some money on those machines, spin a wheel and a little capsule with a toy comes out. The onomatopoeia of this sound is somethink like "gacha chacha", so the name is a reference of something you spin, and every time you got a different toy.
And with Gacharic Spin you never know what is comming. From a theme who sound like "electronic disco" to well... anything.
The band have now 4 vocalist... no joke. Angeline 1/3 (pink hair) is a recent adition, the guitar Tomo-zo have sometimes their own songs (and she can do really incredible things with a guitar). The keyboard player Oreo Reona also do main vocals in some themes, the other guitar Hanna do vocals, growls and also play drums, aerophone and about 10 more instruments. Having so many vocalist let´s them to cover a wide range of genres and well... this was a "normal" performance, this people can do really nuts performances on stage.
They also do a side proyect in heavy metal with Fuki, the singer of Lightbringer and Unlucky Morpheus (only a CD and a EP years ago, but it´s great)
Consider you warning. Any song from Gacharic Spin can be really different from others.
Trying to label Gacharic Spin is absurd. The number of genres they mix is so large and varied that it's not worth it. They are simply Gacharic Spin, one of the craziest and most fun bands to watch live. Don't think about it anymore.

No lo. They are nowhere near kawaii metal. That’s normally young girls. In this band, the singer with pink hair Angie is just now turning 20 after being in the band for 5 years now and Yuri the drummer is only 23. The other four are all mid 30s on the later side I suspect.
Angie is saying Arigotou. That’s thank you in Japanese.
Please guys do more from then. I promise you’ll never be disappointed
Angie is 20 going on 21 (birthday is 24-25 Dec) whereas yuri is 28 & a mom (just looks younger cos she's tiny). Hana (guitar/vocals/drums/everything) is the oldest at 37, Koga (bass) is 36 and Tomo-zo (guitar) & Oreo (keys/vocals) are both 35.
