What would happen if COGIC owned their own hotel? these good people collectively will spend millions of dollars in a city that is unprepared and did not plan for the future. If COGIC would have planned 40 years ago and had a blueprint for their future how many hotels would they have now?
The city of Memphis needs to get crime down. So hotel owners and developers would want to invest in the city. So cogic and other churchs and organization can be accomendated.
I'm so sick of hearing and seeing Bishop Porter running his mouth idk what to do!! Sit down with yo rogueish self just like his dad, W.L. Porter need to stop all those 5 finger discounts.
I started something here.😮 Channel 3 talk about the Convocation more Channel 5.I know it is the International Headquarters but times changed. After the contract ends, COGIC should change cities
@@TerrellDugue- doesn’t make sense to have a facility in Memphis to house the Convocation. 11 months out the year it would go unused. Memphis definitely needs to do better to accommodate the COGIC for the week of holy convocation
@ not saying that I’m just saying the prices skyrocket for hotel housing, car rentals, and entertainment during that week every single year. It’s like they know we coming so they take advantage of us. They need set hotel prices for that week throughout the city. Where definitely gonna come, where definitely going to spend money, definitely going to rent out most the room in the city, and rent out all the cars. Why price gouge us??
@jodijoee6844 I agree 100% price gouging should be a no no and the District Attorneys office needs to look into it ASAP because we know it's certainly going on.
First and foremost the city is too small to accommodate the church of God in Christ. The saints barely have transportation and hotel accommodations. What is wrong with the leadership with their decision making? If you out grow a church and move to a bigger facility.
@@slate521 Being a Memphian our transportation is out of whack. Memphis is trying to get trolleys up and running in 2025. Like I said Atlanta, Houston, St. Louis, Chicago are best bets. Memphis is a mid major

Why. You can give
So basically they are having a convention in a city that cannot fully accomodate them.. oh, ok

No thanks, I'll save my money and watch it online. Besides the crime in Memphis is very bad - it's one of the most dangerous cities in the country
@@mrbigguy6905 We have the wrong mayor. A bad Interim police chief. This mayor refuses to put the police chief to a vote. Enter at your own risk
All they do is complain that Memphis doesn't have enough hotel rooms. They should have stayed in St. Louis or go to Houston or Atlanta
They should have their own facility by now, but they have a hard time with all the stealing going on and I'm COGIC, so I know!!

@jodijoee6844 So COGIC can't afford to invest in housing for Convocation like the ones they have near Mason Temple?
