Thank you for the video. I am just getting back into R/C monster trucks and I have been dusting off and restoring my ESP Clodzilla IV based Clod Buster that was put into storage for the last twenty years. There are a lot of tire choices for 2.6 inch wheels that I have to get caught up on. Back in the day there were very few tires choices for 2.6 inch monster truck wheels: stock Tamiya Clod Buster tires, stock Kyosho USA-1 tires, Imex Bajas, Imex Pullers, and Pro Line Giant Tracs. I liked Giant Tracs on my truck and I still have them. I wish that they still made them but in the newer, softer compounds. I think that they were only made in the XTR compound.
I just bought a factory smt10, if I put golden years tires do you think it could rub on some part of the truck or what tires do you recommend, it is the first change I want to make....
Gold Years should be fine, with the JConcepts Tribute wheels. I would suggest using their widest adapter on the wheel to help with turning radius. You may need to upgrade the servo too once you do this.
@@TriggerKingRC Thank you very much for answering, I really appreciate it and I am attentive to the videos that you upload on your channel, especially the ones in which the trucks are not so fast... and more similar to the style of the 90s
Now we just need a video on how to glue tires to rims i just ordered set of j concept renegades and tribute wheels dont wanna mess them up lol never done it
Are these actually scale to the real trucks? I think the 2.2 that comes on the smt10 look a bit small and narrow, but these both look a little bit too big and too wide?
the 2.2's on the SMT10 are definitely too small. The pro-lines are typically a smidge tall and wide whereas the jconcepts are pretty close, although sometimes they look a hair too small depending on what chassis. I think the best scale looking tire on the market proportion wise is the JConcepts JCT

Can't wait to see about the tires for pavement.
Thanks man.
I like the looks of the J Concepts.
What do you recommend for the traxxas hoss?? These tires seem way to big for my hoss.

Awesome video thank
Help me!!! I want to find the chassis on the orange truck. Who own the truck & the shop. IG & FB
Can i put them tires on my HL 150 i will get them
Those tires are going to be quite big for the HL150. You can do it, but you'll need axle wideners
