@@touretteherogenuine question, but is it ok if you only use it for yourself? As the person you’re responding to is using it as a self descriptor, and is using it as a d/hh person themself (I think)
What about fidgets? They may look like toys, but it’s an accessibility for student to help them with their learning process, anxiety, and giving them comfort. Taking that away is discrimination against students with disabilities.
As a person with adhd caffeine has always calmed me down and helped focus my concentration. The medical profession doesn’t understand why caffeine helps, they just understand that since adhd brains are wired a bit differently stimulates can have the opposite effect and calm them down. And when my friends kid was 5 and considered too young for adhd meds the doctors suggested trying to give him unsweetened ice tea to drink during the day since it had some caffeine in it. It didn’t create any miracles but it did help out a bit.
I really think that if you came to a teacher like mr montzingo and explained why you drink the caffeine then he’s allow it. He seems like a openminded and kind teacher so if you’d probably get an exception. Maybe just put your drink in something like a Stanley or water bottle so others don’t feel like you get special treatment. At least I would allow it as long as it has a reason for you needing it.
Caffeine actually better than drugs for kids with ADHD, anything with petroleum like artificial dyes not so good and chocolate with alcohol in it that includes vanilla and peppermint extract. If you have kids raise in day care, have living in more than one house, parents are divorced, parents ignore them or other adverse childhood experiences put on the coffee pot with espresso beans, as it will help quiet the minds of those students.

The thing is, teachers always say, "No phones." They never follow their own rules. I always had mine, and I remember one teacher tried to take it from me, yet they got a warning from the head of the year because I had to have it, and they were told so. The reason it was taken from me was that it fell out of my pocket when I sat down at the start of class. She demanded that I give it to her, so I walked up to her desk and told her why I needed my phone. She said, "I don't care." I then said, "If you contact the head of the year, he will confirm I'm telling the truth." She said, "Give it to me now!" So I said, "Okay, that's not a problem, but I'll be leaving for the head of the year's office." She told me no, so I told her to make her choice. I was then told to "f off" (Irish school teachers swear, but if you say "OMG," you get a week in detention). Five minutes later, she was made to apologize and give it back to me. She hated me so much she spent the next 2 years being a ahole. I got pay back but thats a long story.
