Perfect soundtrack to a man's life, from a lost and innocent childhood to the turbulence of young adulthood, finally culminating in a grand sound after overcoming the trials of life.
Actually, it's first Mozart's 16th Piano Sonata then a variation of Rimsky-Korsakav's "Flight of the Bumblebee" and then a variation of the "Ode to Joy" chorus in Beethoven's 4th movement of his 9th symphony.
For those nerds that want to see the Latin, too: PRIUSQUAM PRAESENS DAMNATUS SALVENS: HIC HOMO NESCIENS. QUAE FUTURA EST ? EST PLANE VANUM? MAGNIFICANDUM? ERROR AUT SANUM? O FORTUNA EST! QUA~? From memory of reading the liner notes 5 years ago. Please forgive any spelling errors, I know zero Latin.
I love TSO! I love how they take classical music by the best composers (Beethoven, Bach, Wagner, etc.) and give it a rock flavour. I love it! Who else but Trans-Siberian Orchestra could do that. 🙂
Starting at 3:45 the lyrics are: Priusquam praesens Damnatus salvens Hic homo nesciens Quae futura est? Est plane vanum? Magnuficandum? Error aut sanum? O fortuna est? (repeat) lyrics by pandora. Their translation: The past and present Loss and redemption A man's intentions All things yet to be A last illusion Time's absolution Fact and confusion Fate and destiny bound Pretty sure the original lyrics are latin.
melkor beleger 0:29, “The flight of the bumblebee”? It’s a melody that requires a certain... tempo Edit; I’m sorry if I came off as nasty here. I didn’t think my comment trough, and I may have written things in an unpleasant way
I figured out what two songs they used to put this together, Flight of the Bumblebee and Ode to Joy, I originally thought it was Sabre Dance, and Ode to Joy, but, now I know it is Flight of the Bumblebee!(edited)
WOW! I can envision violin strings smoking! lol whew! I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting these; the cd holder thingy that my TSO cd was in completely disappeared, I have no clue what could have happened to it. Unfortunately, it held all my other favorite CDs too. Thanks to people like you I can download the music I own on lost CDs and enjoy life once again!
i am a classical musician and this song is called "the fight of the Bubmlebee" by Rimsky-Korsakov... oh and, also the last part is made by Ludwig Van Beethoven... 9th Symphony...Love them!
i do not know why they put in the comercial adds, i've never bought anything because of the add,,i've bought this cd because i was able to listen to the music on youtube. Consider that youtube!
Jason Carpp, you asked who else could do this. Check out Luca Turilli, Luca Turilli's Rhapsody, and Rhapsody of Fire. Luca Turilli was the original pioneer of symphonic power metal and he was so good major motion picture companies offered him contracts to write the musical scores for major motion pictures. Also, on their album Triumph or Agony, Rhapsody of fire used an entire 70 piece orchestra. If you like this kind of stuff you will find this interesting
I came here looking for more... rhapsody of fire is my favorite band... hands down the best... Symphonic rock is something one must experience first hand... put it on your bucket list :)
@LuminOfMoonlight That's what I was asking. I couldn't find anything that specified whether they gave credit to the original composer. And don't lecture me on composers, I happen to be one.
@taker1z u obviously have no idea wat i am talking about folow these simple instructions 1. go to the website "berrics" 2. once u have got on to the berrics click enter the berrics 3. go to features and click battle commander 4. scroll down to where it says s.o'neill 5.click and enjoy :)
THE PAST AND PRESENT LOSS AND REDEMPTION A MAN'S INTENTIONS ALL THINGS YET TO BE A LAST ILLUSION TIME'S ABSOLUTION FACT AND CONFUSION FATE AND DESTINY BOUND
@CaptainCrowbarman i mean a bout the, and i quote, "awesome wrapped in epic wrapped in bacon dipped in fresh maple syrup." and how does the beginning sound like the flight of the bumblebee "angry with a .50 mount gun. Or a 20mm anti-tank rifle." and since when has there been a gun that can do any damage to a tank?! Tanks, when attacked by a gun, are like indestructible! A gun can`t penetrate a tank.
I love TSO's style. They go from fast and furious to calm, then back again, just perfectly.
Perfect soundtrack to a man's life, from a lost and innocent childhood to the turbulence of young adulthood, finally culminating in a grand sound after overcoming the trials of life.
Interesting. Very insightful.
I know the feeling.
@@jasoncarpp7742 August of 2021 too, absolutely incredible
@@zakethekid1333 I agree.
I've always loved this song. Everytime I listen, I burst into tears. I don't know why.
Here as well
Actually, it's first Mozart's 16th Piano Sonata then a variation of Rimsky-Korsakav's "Flight of the Bumblebee" and then a variation of the "Ode to Joy" chorus in Beethoven's 4th movement of his 9th symphony.
The ending is my favorite part of the song. It gives me the chills!
This...this is truly a masterpiece that will never be topped
(Except wizards in winter because wizards in winter is always better)

2:32 This part is just beautiful!!!
This is so amazing. YES.
I play the violin and just thinking about the violinist playing makes me wonder "How In The World Does He Do It?!"
Gordon Gregory that's Roddy Chong for you
Its easy, first study and burn the notes in your memory, then as violinist just quit thinking while playing, after some mistakes you wil be a pro !
It could also be Mark Wood who Roddy would eventually replace in TSO East touring company.
thank you very much. please keep this song. do not delete it. i have been looking for it.

Ode to Joy mixes well with CANNON if both are put into the same key.
