Steve has said that CB was like a stepping stone for him. ''Spike changed everything,'' as he has said regarding his career. He got the sound wave of Spike's last word in the series, ''Bang'' tattooed on his left arm and always signs off of interviews with that word. Also, he has a few Spike pictures in frames in his home office.
For all those complaining about Spike cleaning the wall by sweeping it, It’s actually a quick technique for dusting high lettering plaques from actual Janitors. When you're doing a quick clean through a hallway and a ladder isn't available or necessary, a quick few swipes of your broom dusts the letters just as effectively. Otherwise you get dust build up on top of the names/locations and that doesn't look good for the building's sanitation.

The youtube police wouldn't come after you for saying the word ass.
She warns him by cocking the gun rather than just killing him.
He doesn't need the warning; he'd already snapped the broom up.
She turns towards the incoming guards, he warns her by telegraphing the strike with the broom.
He sprays down the guards, but chooses just to run from her; trusting she won't shoot towards bystanders.
Epic show don't tell. Tells us who they are, that they both understand both each other's ethics and the lesser restraint of the guards.
I fell so in love with that art style
Wish they pull of more like this 🤩
Imagine somebody watching this and being like “Omg it should be live action!”
“Am I really going to defile this grave for money..? Of course I am!”
If only we had a proper animated sequel. One without Spike.
It would feel roughly about the same but the movements wouldnt be as well done and the choreography would be very bad if hollywood makes it.
1:57 - Spike a man of taste
I just love the look of Electra's outfit, the jacket, black clothes with short hair
Classy for a corporate girl
This is Spike at his absolute most Lupin III and I'm all here for it.
Kinda cute how Spike has that lighthearted grin on his face when he fights an easy opponent.
Fighting and flirting at the same time takes skills
I'm with Spike. I'm certainly attracted to women who could snap me in half like a pencil.
Exactly.
The Devil's Anus
haha that was a good one pal 👍
2:40 ooooh that's an ankle buster right there
''The jumpsuit does nothing for you!''
I disagree.
Spike looks surprisingly good in blue. Not to mention it makes the two characters pop out during the fight because of their contrasting colors.
When she broke the broom at 2:04, it sounded like Spike enjoyed that! 🤣👏🏼
One of the greatest anime fights of all time. It doesn’t have to be Goku vs Jiren to be epic and Cowboy Bebop is proof of that. The art is absolutely amazing, the fights are so different then most shows and flow of combat feels like you’re actually watching two people fist fight. Can’t see stuff like this anywhere else
2:10 I have no idea why but Spike saying En Garde reminds of the Tom & Jerry Fencing episode. I was half expecting him to say “Touché, pussycat!”
I think he meant defence! Or something like in old fencing
"I love the kind of woman that will actually just kill me"
-GM
1:00 Steve Blum is smooth like butter.
"En Garde!" *shoves a busted broom in her face"
I miss this kind of comedy, lmao
Steve Blum vs. Jennifer Hale. Im in!!!
Ben Wasserman Grunt vs. Female Shepard.
+I fight for my friends. Miranda Lawson: Oh great! Now *I* got to break up a fight this time!
+I fight for my friends. correction commander starscream vs fem shepherd
More like Killer Frost vs Wolverine
Sub Zero vs Kronika
“I love the kind of woman that can kick my ass.” Is a smoother line than the other one
0:34 when your comes around when you’re chilling so you pretend you’re busy working lol
I can watch this over and over and over and over and over again
1:57 truer words have never been said
2:20 this is my kingdom come
Exactly what i thought
"I love a woman that could kick my ass" Lol. Love that queot so much. I also like that kind of woman.
The scene, the dialogue, the VAs, jazz: PERFECTION. 🎉
I like how delighted he was all during the fight.
何十年も前のアニメなのに世界でここまで愛されるってのは最高のキャストとスタッフのおかげなんだな
Damn i wish i was as cool as spike beating mofos all nonchalont hes so cool coolest anime character
The animation is so smooth for an anime at its time.
"I love the kind of woman that will actually just kill me"
All we wanted was a Cowboy Bebop.
But Netflix gave us Simpboy Bebop.
Spike just casually mopping a wall, as one does. I wonder how she figured it out?
Now thats what I call a masterpiece on a fight mechanics flow, CGI designers cannot compete to this timeless classic.
Juan Garcia eh
0:04 "Hey! Where's my truck?!"
"Huh? You just drove it out of here, didn't you?"
"WHAT?!"
I never noticed what was so enticing about her character. But it's the choker. Very subtle sexiness
Jazz + fight scenes = perfection
Reminds me of the Sly Raccoon games, those parts when Carmelita tries to catch Sly ^^
Me too.
Lol. I thought I was the only one who made that connection.
