Thanks ! This was my first restore ever. I still have all the original parts, the fenders and handlebars were pretty bad, but I'm still keeping them. Fenders are from a '99 Grape Krate, and I replaced the handlebars bar with Wald's. But everything else really cleaned up nicely with a lot of elbow grease, you can really tell the quality of those old bikes! The 1999 fenders are nice, but you can totally tell that the chrome quality was SO much better on the originals. Thanks again! -- John
I did a 70 Orange Krate in 1994. Parts were easy to come by back then, lots of new old stock and Pete seats-every time I ride it I am 10years old again! ROCK ON!
Good tunes with solid editing! thanks for the upload
That was incredibly entertaining and motivational to watch! Thanks for posting.
Great video presentation of restoration of a classic bike, squirrel approved to boot!!!
What a great presentation. Even the squirrel was speechless.
Great job. Great video. Everything was great. Very entertaining. I'd love to see more.

Thank you for this video.
Very enjoyable. 😎
Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing.
Cool story!! Your right the older kids had these!!
Nice restoration, you can find the Schwinn raised white letter slicks on eBay for a decent price...great job!
This is a polite way of saying "What in the hell were you thinking ? you did all of that work then put a cheesy $10 rear tire instead of a slick"
Great video. Great bike.
Awesome video, dude! :-)
What a great video.
great job!
Sweet video!!
Great video
Where did u get seat recovered and where u buy the seat cover?
Kool! Great resto... and screw the Schwinn guys that look down on repaints.
I’ve got a ‘68 Lemon Peeler, and a ‘70 Grape Krate... regular people love them!
I remember my generic department store bike being mocked by a pack of "krateheads" outside of a schwinn shop fifty years ago. every krate model was represented there by those snooty brats. lol
B R A V O........! Well done.... indeed.
nice presentation you are as young as you feel.
Our visiting squirrel digs it too ;-)
grab a white letter rear slick that will really set it off, nice bike i just restored a original paint 69, Pea Picker..
Nice Job!! BTW, Dave Erickson also painted my (SkyBlue)1967 Deluxe Stingray.
I never had a Sting Ray, but my Raleigh Chopper was the baddest bike on the block
I had a pea picker when i was 12 ,but i trashed it , now I'm 60 wish i took better care of it.
Pete's Seats in Arizona. The store is called "HyperFormance" I believe. He's famous for his seats and silk-screened chain gaurds.
Beautiful restoration and video. Where did you get the paint to match the color? I am looking for the paint and can't find it? Thanks
Awzome u got that green super close aswel beautiful bike
Awesome restoration..Did you manage to restore all the "original" parts? any re-chroming?..I have 5 of the 6 models in my collection that I restored over the years..Good job...
I want to do this also, but I absolutely need to know how much it cost to do that, an how you put on the stick shift. Please write me back when you can! Thanks
Bravo Awesome
I have an original slick tire and Tube that are just dry rot. But I am looking for a stingray slick Tire. Is there anyway you can help me? If not I understand.🦊
The squirrel tho.
Awesome
Love it I have a 70 cotton
nice ride, I have sting ray
If 69 should have bent shifter and green line slick and wider bars. That is a 70.
Nice
Sound track: Heavy Metal Movie
You need the slick!!!
*Guards
Love it, i want me a 69 Pea Picker
:-) :-)
Thats a 1970 not a 1969.
Would you restore my Pea Picker?
Too bad no information to help others.
Probably one of the best examples, and related content I've ever found on this machine, bravo!
