This is a GREAT movie! Got to enjoy it in a theater Friday night. Loved the plot and the message of respecting the land. Cinematography and SFX were exceptional for an indie film. The blend of humor and horror was a great match. Deer Camp '86 took me back to a time when bros could give each other shit without offense. Thumbs up! Cant wait for the sequel.
Is a sequel already confirmed? If so that's awesome! I agree with literally everything you said though. It really did take me back in the best way possible
Cast felt so real, you could tell they had fun making it. I loved a lot of the effects, except the explosion from the car, that was a little sketchy, but could not stop laughing.
@@SeanKennyYT Welllll.... I might've written and produced it under an alias Riley Taurus. So I am biased. But it's great to hear from people who get it for what it is! You nailed the Evil Dead reference. It's what we did during COVID. Shot over 16 days with 4$ and a bucket of chicken.
That's beyond cool man, big props to what you guys managed to accomplish with such a limited budget and in such a short time frame. Honestly, one of the most fun experiences I have had in the theatres in a very long time. This movie will definitely be a guilty pleasure of mine, I wish you guys all the success possible with this one and i'm excited to see what you guys can come up with in your next production. Is there anywhere to sign up to keep posted with updates on projects/kickstarters etc?

Hey Sean! Came across your channel from on the stream last night and then spoke about you 🙂 This sounds like a fun movie and a one I need to watch, however I don’t know if it’s coming to the uk!
Just got my new short throw projector and choose this as my first movie on it. Bing... Bang... chicken wang! What a great movie if you like tucker and dale you will love this. They really do nail the group dynamics and this is exactly how your friends group would be back then. It's campy but in all the right ways and the there's some really good quotes to! I see y'all saying this was indie? Don't let that fool you I couldn't tell it seems like it must have had a decent budget its well shot and has some decent effects and kills. Bravo to the team that produced it this hit the sweet spot for e and I'm very impressed!!
I'm the 666th view. Spooky. 😉 I think the most gruesome scene was the deer tick. Yikes! The effects were great, the scenery was beautiful, I cared about most of the characters, even if a few of them were total goofballs. I definitely recommend it.
I'd be lying if I said my eyes didn't bug out a bit during the tick scene... The tone of this movie was sort of hard to explain because it sounds so dumb, but I'm glad you liked it as much as me. One of us!

One character that really didnt do anything for the film in my opinion was the sheriff. He didnt seem like a sheriff at all. I understand after the fact that he was actually the producer of the film so hes doing well on that flip side, lol

Nothing yet. Just keep doing the Lords work. It comes out on July 9 on DVD and BluRay at Walmart.
