    I bought one of these a few weeks ago and mounted it on my Ruger 9mm PC Carbine. I like that it is FFP with 6x magnification. Glass is clear, and the turrets are exposed and locking. The scope is short and does not interfere with the front iron sight on the barrel. Lightweight at 18 oz. Can't see the illumination in daylight, but for the money this is a excellent choice. I used medium height rings for a better cheek weld and so I don't need a riser on the butt stock. BTW shipping to my home in Arizona from China was flawless and arrived in only 5 days.

      Is it clear enough to see and shoot at 100 yds ? I was wanting to put it on the Ruger PC Carbine too. Small optic for a 12x. Clear at 12x ?

      @@andyjohnson6855 I shot at 50 yards and 100 yards. Yes, it is clear at 100 yards and holds zero, just not daylight bright IR. I finally sighted in a 50 yards but not much adjustment to reach 100 yards - give it 0.5 MRAD elevation. My first choice was the Vector Optics Veyron 6-24 or 4-16x44 but missed the sale. I am satisfied with it.

    Great video Josh. I can relate to your problem with the sun because the same thing happened to me and the farm manager when I saw the only wild dogs I've seen. There were people on the farm carrying rifles everywhere for the first time in years for another couple of weeks.

    I bought one and mounted it on my Ar. Took 2 weeksfrom China. Just have it bore sighted. Haven't been to a range yet but seems to be a nice piece of glass.

      Yes it is pretty nice. Worst thing is the eye relief but once you get used to it it’s ok.

    Hey Josh. A good test would also be a group at low magnification, and another on high, to see if the point of impact moves during magnification setting changes.
    Good review Josh. Looks a worthwhile option for the price, but it would be nice to see the illum during the day, I think. Like red dot sights.

      It will shift, but that is why there is a parallax knob.

    Pays to have a few types of ammo see what it likes . Then start at 150m back to 70 get a medium finalised 5 shots milk bottle caps at 180m. Very nice optical tool.🎉🎉🎉🎉.

    • @johnmead8437
      @johnmead8437 3 місяці тому

      If the scope was shooting the ammo, fair enough.
      Old fashioned rifles shot the ammo, and some rifles had ammo preferences. If the scope shifts with different types of ammo (as opposed to the rifle zero changing, and the scope needing adjustment to correlate), give it to someone disliked.
      Shooting groups with different ammo types at about 50m will show what that rifle likes and is adequately accurate for all but precision shooting & shooters.
      Some scopes might have some image shifting issues at close range if held erratically.
      Without giving it a good workout in field conditions and direct comparison with other known good brands in various light conditions it's difficult to tell the optical quality.

    Idk if you ever changed it but your scope mount is backwards. The overhang part goes forwards

    • @intothenight1993
      @intothenight1993  13 днів тому

      @@HIinfidel I did that for mounting it on my 223 as I needed the scope to be further back and also it is a 20moa mount with the highest ring at the front the way I have it. So I imagine that’s the way it’s supposed to be?

    You put your scope mount on backwards. Instead of getting 20 moa extra elevation you have it set up at -20 moa. It's a cantilever mount made for an AR15 type rifle with a full length rail on top so when you mount it on anything else it's too far away from your eye if mounted correctly. The scope also comes with a set of rings which is what you needed. You clicked the wrong opinion and paid more for the wrong mount.

    • @intothenight1993
      @intothenight1993  6 днів тому +1

      @@tracycouch246 haha yes I am aware the I had it on backwards I didn’t buy the scope or the mount but they gave it to me to do the review on. I asked them for the 0 MOA set but they were out of stock and it didn’t come with standard rings. So that is what they sent me. Yes it’s pointing 20 MOA down but that doesn’t affect it. It had plenty of adjustment and it’s an LPVO so I’m not going to do long range shooting with it. It’s currently not even on a rifle as I have better scopes with good eye relief. This one has good glass but the eye relief is short and at any magnification it isn’t as nice to use as my Leopold or Trijicon scopes so I use the ones I prefer. But thanks anyway for your concern. 👍

      @@intothenight1993 Yeah I have one and the eye box is horrible. I do like the reticle but it's not easy to get in the perfect spot to see it. It'd be a nice scope if the eye box was more forgiving. Wish more LPVO scopes were available with adjustable parallax.

      @@intothenight1993 Whether it holds zero when travelling around in the vehicle etc, its low light performance etc separate the useful from the swear jar. Possible scope eyebrow and the left hand turret (compromises shooting with both eyes open) don't seem attractive, and electronics quality and durability determine how long it keeps out of the recycle bin. Would be interesting to see how it lasts, dunked and frozen etc. In past times a few Jap scopes performed adequately, among the rubbish. Often it seemed those assembled on Tuesdays, pre oriental QA consistency.
