    The tricky thing about negative sentences with "anything" doesn't happen in Portuguese. We also use "nothing" in negative sentences, just like in Korean ❤

    I've been watching your Vlogs, and it helped me to understand some korean phrases. But if a korean will ask you this? What does it mean?
    형 제가 얼마 입니까? I know that Hyeong is older brother? Eolma is How many/ how much? So , does the question asking me if how many brothers do I have? And if my answer will be, I have none , so , how will Im going to answer it, in a polite manner? Thanks Miss Vicky..

    • @KoreanwithMissVicky
      @KoreanwithMissVicky  3 роки тому

      형 제가 얼마입니까? means "Brother, how much am I?" which is a weird thing to ask haha. Can you maybe check the question again? Maybe there's a typo or you left out some words~

  • @theoffice1584

    빅키샘, this question is not related to the vid but
    비행기를 달때 승무원을 한국어로 어떻게 부르면 좋을까요? “승무원님”이라고 부르면 괜찮아요? :p 답을 주시면 정말 감사하겠어요 :p 좋은 하루 되세요 :)

    • @KoreanwithMissVicky
      @KoreanwithMissVicky  3 роки тому

      좋은 질문이에요. 승무원이나 웨이터 등 서비스 종사자들을 부를 때 주로 "저기요~" 라고 해요. "승무원님" 이라고는 잘 안 하는데, 사실 "승무원님" 이라고 불러도 기분 나빠할 것 같진 않아요. 은근히 귀엽거든요 ㅋㅋ 특히 외국인이 "승무원님~" 하면 진짜 귀여울 것 같아요.
      That's a good question. When we are calling someone who's doing service works like flight attendants or waiters, we usually just say "저기요~" Normally we don't say "승무원님," but I think you can be unconventional and try using it because it kind of sounds cute ㅋㅋ I don't think it's gonna offend them at all~ Especially if a foreigner says that, I think it's gonna sound cuter. In a good way, of course!

    • @KoreanwithMissVicky
      @KoreanwithMissVicky  3 роки тому

      민주씨, you are from Hong Kong right? I'm pretty sure you speak Mandarin as well, and here are the Chinese translations for each sentence.
      아무도 만나지 마세요:谁都不要见面
      아무나 만나지 마세요: 不要随便见任何人见面
      I used Papago translator. I hope this makes sense!

    안녕 빅키샘! 🙂 I just have a question in 20:20 Is it just an exemption in negating 좋아해요 by putting 안 before 좋아해요, bec in your earlier example 편식하다 in negative form became 편식을 안 해요?

    • @KoreanwithMissVicky
      @KoreanwithMissVicky  2 роки тому +1

      좋아하다 is not a "noun + 하다" combo, and it's a full verb on its own. So it cannot be separated like 좋아+하다. So you can negate it "안 좋아하다" or "좋아하지 않다." not 좋아 안 하다. (although sometimes people do say it this way, maybe when making a joke or they want to sound different, but grammatically speaking that's not correct. :))

      들어 is an present conjugation of 듣다.

    Eonni I wanted to ask, if 아무도 is no one then what is 누구도?

    • @KoreanwithMissVicky
      @KoreanwithMissVicky  3 роки тому

      누구도 is basically very similar with 아무도, if not that same.
      이건 지수 말고 그 누구도 할 수 없어. No one can do it other than Jisoo.
      이건 지수 말고 아무도 할 수 없어. No one can do it other than Jisoo.
      But 아무도 is used more often in casual/spoken form than 누구도. 누구도 sounds slightly formal or poetic, and you'll hear it a lot in the lyrics.
