Thanks for the review between the 2 scopes. I was not sure if I wanted to spend the money on the Athlon cronus scope but you made my mind up that I will be purchasing Athlon scope.
This is a good comparison. I personally find the Athlon scopes to be awesome for NRL22 rifles. The closer parallax and greater internal adjustment makes it a no brainier.
The Vortex 6-36x56 gen 3 vs Sightron SVIII 5-40x56 would surely be an awesome comparison to see. Perhaps Panther Hollow can send some requests to the companies and have them send samples for review? At least as loaners?
yes I have the Gen1s and Gen2s EP4 and SH4. I also sell them.. I have hunted with the SH4 Gen1 for 2 years now.. Great scope with now issues. We use the SH4 Gen2 and EP4s in our matches and they work well for their price, There are better scopes with better glass but all cost 2 to3 hundred more than the Arkens. This is a great budget scope that tracks like one that cost much more. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks Mike for showing us how you play with your balls at 400yrds 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Nice shooting 😃😃. I do like the Vortex caps, none on the Chronos 😃😃 that makes the Vortex Razon Gen 2 better 😃
Hey buddy.... Yea that Vortex has been a really good scope for me.. The other scopes that it competes with are simply catching up.. The glass on the mid-level scopes are getting so good that its hard to believe without seeing it first hand. I took the dope from one gun set it up on the other and made a first round cold bore hit. Not bad for a wood shed built Howa and a screw on lego barrel. .lolol.. thanks for watching..
I watched this video saying "If this guy says the Vortex is better I will NEVER watch another one of his videos" I am so glad you aren't bought and paid for by Vortex and you gave an honest review!! Athlon is wildly underrated!! The Cronus is without a doubt top 5-6 scopes in that price range. The Tract Toric and Delta Stryker are only ones that are clearly better. The Bushnell DMR is probably close too but you can NOT beat the Cronus reticle. Athlon's center dot reticle is cleanest and IMO the best in the scope world (even better than Tract and Delta) And the Cronus crushes the Element Nexus too. Sorry air gunners, just a fact!! Edit: Also the Maven RS.4 -I'd have a really hard time pucking between the Tract and Maven
the Maven and the Tract are VERY close, The Cronos is in third in that ranking and not because of glass. Just total features of 1 vs the other! Thanks for watching!
@@pantherhollow5290 I Appreciate the feedback. One of those 3 are without a doubt my next scope. Unless something new comes along. I wish there were Maven reviews out there. Glad to see you did one.
Element brand scopes aren't very good especially for the prices they charge. They are definitely not in the upper levels of their respectable price classes especially when it comes to their glass.
I really agree and think Element brand scopes are specifically made for air gun shooters for close range shooting at well under 100 yards that's why they really don't need to be that good optics compared to other similarly priced scopes that actually need to shoot well past 200 yards. Air gun shooters don't need higher quality scopes.
I really appreciate Panther Hollow and his honest videos. He's not even a dealer for Tract and Maven and states his honest opinions about them over his own brands of scopes that he actually sells. There are a lot of money motivated UA-cam reviewers that make a profit off of the hits and affiliate links that push scopes that aren't as good as they say they are.

Awesome, thank you for such detailed information on each scope and why you chose one over the other .
Another great video, keep up the great work and being one of the truly honest UA-camrs left.
Thank you sir!

thank you
I love the honesty and factually based rationale. Well done. Problem is now I want to look through athlon glass.
. thank you for watching..
That’s an awesome shooting. Do you remember what kind of camera were u using when recording 400 yards?
Nickon with 120x zoon
I didn’t understand your conclusion of the video just tell me that which one you have choose in both of these two?
Athlon
Sounds good. Thank you.

The sightron is better
I see an Arken sticker, do you own an Arken and if you do how well do you like t?
