Nice review! We've been running our 2050 Supercab in Oregon for the last four years. Trim up a bit for the best handling in reverse. I think the biggest surprise in regards to handling (for us) was how well the Stabicraft handles a following sea. While other boats keep the captain busy avoiding a broach, the Stabi just holds her line and stays rock solid. We also have a Stabicraft 1450 Frontier Profish and it is pretty impressive, as well. We've had it off the Oregon Coast on nice days and felt perfectly safe crossing the Yaquina River Bar.
100% ecstatic that these are in the USA. I retire in a few years and this is exactly what I will be getting. Cant wait.
Great review sir
seats for 2 people only? common guys, 2050 and only 2 seats for crew? not worth the money, need seats for at least 4 ppl
You can always add seats. Not everyone wants them. I prefer only two seats. If I’ve got four people going out, two can sit on gunnels or folding camp chairs. I want the dance floor space. If I’m cruising, I throw in a couple aluminum tripod chairs that match the passenger chair; nice, solid, and comfortable.
Well done. Enjoyed the walk thru. Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Trim the motor up when backing down. It will work better
There is only 4 seats on 20ft boat? is it possible to make additional custom seats?
two front seats. two cooler box seats. two rear jump seats.
This isn't the newest one is it? They just released a upgraded version wider and hatch that acesse front I believe.
yes this is the older version. Can't wait to get our hands on the new one. This was very impressive, it's hard to imagine a better version.
Where are you located??
Have you come across the new 2050 SC's? How do they compare to the old ones?
We have not seen the new ones yet, we'll get our first some time in March. Very impressed with the old one, not sure what I'd even change!!
