Love his closing argument! Well laid out and well spoken! Thank you for helping put this monster behind bars. He obviously left a trial of pain and suffering, everywhere he went and everyone he touched. I loved seeing him being forced to sit still and hear all the bad stuff that he's done and said. That was satisfying! Good ridence to bad rubbish.
The Defence's closing was weak. Something you would expect from a first-year law student. Now, on the other hand, the Prosecution's closing was right on. Funny how that works when the truth is on your side. Jacob attended and graduated from St George's medical university in Grenada. It is commonly referred to as the "Second Chance" med school. Typically, the student's grades are low and don't qualify for US-based med schools.
Narcissists are very clever in spinning the obvious into "it wasn't me", I didn't say that, or the number 1 thing.... YOU DID x,y,z type of situation. This guy is text book. Have fun in prison sir!
Good closing, but when the prosecutor said Valerie would have chosen her daughter over Leon, had a little twinge of doubt. That woman had it bad for him. IMO, those two were peas in a pod.
Valerie was NOT innocent. As a grown woman, mother and professional, she was more than capable of making her own decisions. I don't buy the mental illness argument, either. Valerie had a certain personality, which led her down a dark path with the likes of Mr. Leon Jacob. No 'Dr.' in front his name 😂
Yes, what he really feared, was Valerie being on the hook for child support, once she lost custody! Moneymoneymoney. It's sickening how much he's motivated by Money or, more precisely, ill-gotten gains.
0:09 Yes indeed "... the defendant's life began to spiral out of control ..." AND/OR, the way I see it: he started to dance with the devil (in the pale moonlight) = the same thing.
@@ccada Oh wow never thought you'd actually take to the time to read these comments. And yes, it was def more of a compliment. Regardless of ease, still very articulate and good public speaking skills.
@@isaacmemtorie3347 That’s very tough to say. The punishment range for the offense is large 5 years up to 99 years or life in prison. It would have depended on whether she would have entertained an offer. Sometimes defendants do not.
Sweet , fun, happy song, video with Ed in Panda suit and Biebs in cowboy outfit and ice cream cone costume ruined it 4 me. Song alone was great. But with their money, doing a duet, no matter how bad vid is, even me, had to see it. So it'll have 500 gazillion views. Oh well. Song makes me happy anyway. Honestly, no clue Ed sang this song. Justins voice I knew immediately. I had to see vid to realize that was Ed. No clue he had a hi pitch like that. Doesn't fit his style, but again, song makes me happy, especially when I'm driving home from work! !!

Excellent...thorough closing arguments by Prosecutors!
A broken family. His mother shameful. Still enabling him.
As is his brother... But tellingly, not his sister!

I had guessed as much. Phoney degree if you ask me.
@@polly6336 Yup Greneada, not sure of spelling does not tout excellence.
And then he turned the wrong way to go back to his table, and forgets to address the other half of the charges. Unbelievable.
He did a great job closing The case. Great 😊 guy and lawyer. Stay safe.
I agree all closing arguments from prosecution is fabulously brilliant.

the typist lady is disgusted with Leon
Loved his argument near the end about Leon's pauses. For me, that was the most powerful part of this presentation.
But . . . who's "officer Castro"????
The good DR is a screwed up mess....have a great life in prison....
Epic closing !!!
Great closing,
Jackie yes,, excellent. I appreciate his passion.
Thank you both. I appreciate the kind words.
It's so true about the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words".

Thank you, Deb. I appreciate it very much!

I saw him standing in every picture. He gained 150 lbs. Then he had wheelchair n crutches. When he got in shape, he could walk n run. Shocking!!
Cute kitten 💕💕💕💕💕
What a closing!!!
Great closing arguments, but let's be honest, he had a pretty easy case.
Thanks Isaac, I think. 🙂

@@ccada Hey I always wondered, what do you think Valerie McDaniel's punishment or plea deal would have been had she not ended her life?

His purple tie is pissing me off

2 life sentences.
