    Idk how many people know this but Chris Kanyon would go on to commit suicide in 2010. Hearing him talk about not wanting to be another statistic then falling farther down a whole and still passing away crushes me.

      And it's a good thing that Dark Side even added a message for everyone if those who they have friends who had suicidal thoughts, they can contact the Suicide Prevention Hotline.

      She had threatened to divorce him a couple of times apparently, due to his prescription pill use and steroid intake. It's been said that he cut right down the first time. He obviously didn't stop totally though. It's definitely a huge possibility that she'd finally had enough, said that she was leaving him and taking their son with her and he wasn't taking that. So he killed her, killed his son as well, then himself as he had nothing else to live for and would have spent the rest of his life in prison.

    21:25, pulling a shot gun to your partners face on more than one occassion is not violent because there were no shells?! Sorry Dynamite but that's one of the most fucked up things anyone could ever say or do PERIOD!

    • @devilwarr1or
      @devilwarr1or 3 роки тому +4

      voilent definition = using or involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something
      well based on what he said he is correct. Pointing an unloaded gun at someone has no ability to hurt damage or kill. So it isn't voilent.
      Is it intimidation? Yes. Fear inducing? Yes. If the gun was used like a bat to strike the face would that be voilent? Absolutely.
      However what he said was true. PERIOD!

    • @Cloudancer2024
      @Cloudancer2024 3 роки тому +16

      Violence doesn't necessarily have to include physical force. From Merriam-Webster dictionary:
      VIOLENT:
      notably forceful, furious, or vehement
      a violent argument
      a violent denunciation
      : EXTREME, INTENSE
      violent pain
      violent colors
      Getting angry and putting a shotgun to your partner's face is extreme, intense, forceful, furious, and vehement and therefore violent.

    • @devilwarr1or
      @devilwarr1or 3 роки тому +2

      @@Cloudancer2024 so we literally have a scenario where there are 2 different standards of what violence is based on 2 different definitions of the word. 1 is violence is only violence if it results in physical damage the other expands it to include actions, words or even colours.
      So then it can easily be explained that the bulldogs interpretation of violent was based on what i read as well. He thinks its not violent because no physical harm was caused.
      Not saying either version is the correct one or even his actions are ok, but I can at least see where he was coming from when he said what he said.

    • @Cloudancer2024
      @Cloudancer2024 3 роки тому +12

      @@devilwarr1or Then I hope you can also see where I was coming from when I wrote what I wrote. Pushing a gun in someone's face is an illegal violent act even if the gun is empty, and he could have been arrested and charged with assault and battery. His wife did the right thing by ending the marriage before his violence escalated even further.

      @@Cloudancer2024 Exactly. Also, menacing and endangering the life of another one who didn't know the shotgun was unloaded, so yeah arguing semantics is exactly what we don't need to justify violent behaviors and or tendencies. It's actually ironic with the Dynamite Kid because Harley Race invented the flying headbutt, and told everyone "don't do this because it fucks up your spine horribly, it gives you a hard time during an older age", Dynamite Kid took that from Race and ended up sitting in a wheelchair. Benoit took that from Dynamite Kid and ended up losing his mind. This is in fact true because due to case of concussions that were happening with wrestlers at that time, Benoit in a post-mortem investigation into his brain, it was confirmed by Christopher Nowinski that his brain is highly positive for chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), it changed who you are, how you behave, and what you become.

    I understand that some people doesn’t feel sorry or have empathy for Chris Benoit. But at the same time what some of you people have to realize is that back in day in the 90’s and early 00’s this man was doing some crazy shit and putting his body on the line just to entertain us and put food on the table for his family. That’s RESPECT!! Yeah, y’all right Chris should have retired when he broke his neck back 2001 during his TLC match but the only reason he didn’t was because wrestling was something that he loved and enjoyed. Throughout the years Chris loved to entertain us and it really was hard for him to give that all away. Yeah, y’all right some wrestlers abuse steroids to get big and have big muscles but the other wrestlers turned to steroids and abuse substances due to amount of pain that they were in throughout the years. Also some of you guys saying “Omg, Chris Benoit was being dramatic when Eddie died. “ Mental Illness is not a big deal.. No, Chris wasn’t being dramatic this was somebody that he was close to and did everything with. When we were all kids back in the day watching all of these wrestlers on tv growing up. We all admired and liked how they kept us entertained throughout the years and that they don’t mess up, they have lots of money in their bank accounts and they are living their best life. But behind close doors these wrestlers were battling and fighting their demons just like us and like our parents. They stressed out on bills, marriage, getting fired or released from their jobs or being homeless and when we were kids growing up we didn’t realize or understand until every wrestler explain and told their story. So behind closed doors we don’t know if There were a point of time, When Chris tried to end his life and Eddie saved him we don’t know. When Eddie died two parts of Chris had died Mentally and Emotionally. As I said at the beginning some of you people were saying that mental illness wasn’t a problem or big deal. Mental illness is a big deal and something serious. I feel right after when Eddie died, WWE still should have pushed Chris to take some time off and seek for therapy/professional help before it was too late. I am not blaming WWE at all but I wish that they would have payed closer attention to Chris and his well being. Again, I’m not saying what Chris did to his family was right not saying that all. But understand Chris was really ill and needed help. Way deep down Chris didn’t want to kill or hurt his family.. and it wasn’t like that Chris was Insane Psycho that’s been plotting and planning. It wasn’t that, he was just a ill human being that needed guidance and professional help with his mental illness and all the grieving that he was experiencing. Chris, even though that you made a terrible mistake.. we still love and miss you so much. We wish you were still here RIP🤍☁️🙏
