Couldn’t have, you are right. However it was quite the experience and I wouldn’t change any of it… except maybe the devastation it brought to the east…
That's crazy you guys did this during the hurricane. Glad you guys got back together & are hiking NC & Ga. (We're not far from Amicalola). It must be interesting going back & seeing the names & comments of ppl you later met. Enjoy the journey. Nature is wild!!
Hi Gadget, great to see you back on the AT. You looked very happy even though it was pouring rain, you still had that beautiful smile. Good luck,be safe and happy hiking❤
Wonderful to see back on trail. Yes I was wondering in the beginning if you were after or before the hurricane. I can’t wait to see your next post to see what your experience was during the storm.
Ok been meaning to ask you about Blessings who your hiked with some and was in your videos in PA I think. She was from Tennessee and I met her and Couch in the Shenandoah in May at Lewis camp ground. She gave me my trail name while there. My name is Mozy. She had started in Damascus an was to flip from Katahdin back to Damascus to finish in Georgia. I am concerned she got caught in the storm.
So....as y'all are looking to the sky, saying "is this all you got?".....did you know about the hurricane yet? 😁 Of course you did when you titled the video, but I'm just curious where y'all were 'in the moment'. Another question: what inspired you to do Georgia again? I think I found you guys around early VA on your thru, so I don't know what y'all were up to in GA early on, so I'm curious.
Just realizing when you guys came through here the trees and plants won't have been sparse since it was so early in the year, that will make everything look different. Love that Spanish moss, I always thought it was a southern thing but I saw something similar up in the Adirondack mountains. Nature is wild! Wait did I just infringe on a trademark? The only saving grace to your hurricane cliff hanger is I know you had to make it through safely to post, but looking forward to the next one.
😮 you stole my saying 😏 you’ve been in the Adirondacks! They are so pretty. I only hiked in them for a bit and want to go back! Haha spoiler I survived the hurricane. Sadly… some weren’t so lucky
I try to do a few nights in the high peaks each year with my son. Nothing like what you do, but gets us out. And he likes Emma's in Lake Placid for ice cream after.
A new taste sensation - a pretzel and peanut butter burrito! I’m going to have to try that…
Hate didn’t know y’all were hiking this section again. Would have done some magic for yall
Oh my, couldn't have picked a worse time. 😬 The plants and trees were lovely though. Glad you and Soap are enjoying your time together too.

"Smite me, O Mighty Smiter!"
😂😂 exactly!
Fall is my favorite time of year. It's now November 8th and most of the leaves are off the trees.
Stick season! Just how I started trail:) equally as beautiful!
you & Soap make a nice couple
Haven’t you learned not to follow the guy with the funny accent into dangerous situations?
Nope haha not yet… maybe third times the charm?!? I mean YOU followed him into a fire haha
He did seem so sure of himself…
Who are you calling a funny accent??? (Also, I’m clearly a liability 😉)
And now the whole world knows when soap says “don’t worry everything is fine” it is time to panic
always 😘
