Powerful people controlling the world through their inner child and trauma manifests as various types and expressions of narcissism. And that works both ways - their narcissism seeks to control people as adults through their traumatised inner child. Narcissism is an adaptive response to childhood trauma and a lack of control or boundaried environment growing up. How our own inner child responds to this narcissism is where we have some control. I so needed to hear that! I’ve been struggling with that very question since my trip back to Italy last Aug - Sept 2021. I arrived back here on May 16 hoping to have had some clarity & I’m more confused than ever. I just lost my voice & all kinds of communications across the board are blocked. I’ve become more hermetic. My joy of life, peace, optimistic outlook has now turned to such sadness. I feel it all around me. We are truly between 2 worlds.
