A Nurgle Warband is on top of my list. I think the massive Nurgle range for both AoS and 40K are super popular and awesome minis. More of that in WHU, please.
Your thoughts mirror my own in many ways. My own specific preferences aside, factions that only have one, old warband really deserve some attention. KO, Fyreslayers, Seraphon, and Nurgle are desperate for some sort of relevancy in the game. Even though they already have 3 warbands, my love for Skaven is eternal, so I would adore seeing a Skryre warband with lots of random shenanigans lead by a warlock engineer, and/or a Moulder warband with rat-ogres, wolfrats, and ratswarms shepherded by some packmasters.
I would actually like them to return the setting to Shadespire. I love the lore especially the dying and resurrection curse. I never liked them leaving the original location, they could have easily gone to different parts of the city instead of changing realms.
Intresting take and whenever its time for the last season it would be fitting to come full circle and return there. Shadespire is easily the most evocative of the settings although I found the lore of harrowdeep/nethermaze and that whole twisted sinister labyrinth really tasty aswell.
As a Thousand Sons 40K player, I’d love to see more Tzeentch in my small format game. Yes, I know scifi vs fantasy setting but the Tsons have high crossover with AoS anyway. I’m looking forward to that likely new skaven band, as I just got back into WHU and there weren’t any skaven available when I tried it (first one was gone, and the newer ones weren’t a thing yet)
@@criticalfocuschannelI wouldn’t mind seeing some horrors or flamers make an appearance. Or maybe (and this almost pains me to say it given the jokes about TSons getting too many of them in our discount boxes), an “oops, all tzangor” warband. I think a Tzangor shaman (on foot), an enlightened archer (on foot), a banner man and a sword tzangor or two would make a fun warband. I don’t believe there’s an on foot shaman yet in AoS/40k.
My wish is a Idoneth warband that is one cool sea wizard and then non stop sea critters. Make the lieutenant a giant walrus that does no damage but just performs some sort of disruption role. Then just add a bunch of fun sea critters like a Nudibranch, an angler fish, an eel, some jellyfish whatever. They could even do something like Stallagsquig but its sentient coral. The best part of that faction are the critters, so just give me a warband of all critters.
Well if we were to complete the circle through the grand alliances, that leaves chaos and destruction. I think Nurgle Daemons would be a likely choice as there are no existing warbands currently. Would they fit the winter theme? Might be tough but we did just get the hungering parasite deck so it could work. As for destruction I think the Ogres are due… I couldn’t see why a trio or ogres wouldn’t work… like two ironguts and a leadbelcher or a couple ogres leading around a gorger as a pet kind of thing. Definitely don’t need another Tyrant style warband with a bunch of gnoblar cannon fodder
@@criticalfocuschannel For Lizard be kinda cool is they made a lil Lizard like the octo or crab and make the Skink Priest a Caster. Nurgle would not be bad if they did daemons

I'd love a range-themed season. More Kharadron, Clan Skyre, a Melusai warband, could do Spider-Riders with poison bows etc.
Spider-riders sounds aweaome. Web-mechanic to give opponents move tokens/stagger /-move
I'd love a Cities of Sigmar warband, like a human equivalent of the Kharadron Overlords. Lots of shooting !

Yep. A trio of ogre types in the 3-5 wound range could me nice and as far as nurgle goes, pretty much all of their range looks dope.
More strong themes like Zondara definitely.
