Thank you so much ! Our son is a freshman flying home this weekend and I’m so glad I found your video. I just shared it with him and we can all relax now! Thank you again!
Thank you so much! This was very helpful. We will be dropping off our daughter at the U this august...coming from Pennsylvania, this is gives me much piece of mind that she will have no problem getting to the airport to come home and visit back East!
That's why we made this, figure a lot of people including our son would find helpful and ease their mind that it is an easy system to use and get around.
Extra note: If you're wanting to go by train, The route between Salt Lake Central Station (where Amtrak goes) and UU is pretty much exactly the same, except at Courthouse Station, you'll be transferring to/from the Blue Line instead of the Green Line ("to/from" being dependent on the direction, transferring to Blue if going to the Station, and from if going to UU).
U of U students ride free, but they do need to scan their U ID card at the scanner located at the station. Tickets aren't checked all the time on the train but they are checked occasionally and the student may be fined if they didn't scan their U card.
I don't know when but at some point they discontinued the GoRide app, in favor of having buying tickets directly integrated into Transit
Thanks for the information, I have put a note in the description and will pin your comment.

It's a helpful video for the students going to the U first time.
Thanks for taking the time to do this! Very informative. I have a freshman coming next month.
Your welcome hopefully it helps. Our son is a freshmen this year as well.
Cheers! Thanks for this.

UVU and BYU students also ride frontrunner for free
