I'm on the other side of the world and I adore this little elephant. When the sun is behind her you can really see how fuzzy she is! I'm so happy the herd is so sweet to her. And she loves them--she's so excited when she sprints to them :) Thank you so much for these wonderful videos of elephants free to be elephants! Like a toddler who figures out that doing something cute gets the attention of the grownups & makes them giggle. Everytime she plops down she's immediately the focus of at least one grownup..sometimes two or three :)

What a Beautiful video! So many wonderful moments but I was particularly happy to see tender moments between Khanyisa and Timisa . And delighted Timisa is her old (or should I say "young"!) self again 😊👍🏼. My brave boy Fish sharing a moment with Sunshine too. Thank you Adine for another stunning video. And Thank You Owen and all the guys doing such a great job👍🏼🙏 Love you all 😘🤗
So glad you like it, Jan - we loved this one too - lots of super sweet moments! And FIshan is just a gentleman of note - a great choice you had in fostering!

We have to watch with love and humour - and bless, Limpopo and Kumbura are still young, and have not had children of their own, so somethings stress them out easily. But all with love
@@herdelephantorphanage it's my understanding that you use contraception so how could Limpopo and Kumbura have babies of their own? Not judging, just asking so I understand.
Right, Herd commentary is simply making a point to hat the younger females can overreact and as mentioned before this videos, kumbura's overly mother instinct can even overwhelm Khanysia. She gets her trunk around Khanysia and sometimes won't let her go.
Sonia Downey I love her trot. She’s so excited every day to see her family. I love it. HERD you guys are doing a fantabulous (my invention means more than fabulous/fantastic)job.

I adore how she learns by watching and copying, and how gentle and attentive everyone is with her. Its just all so beautiful 💞💓

They are such a noble animal, as far as family values and caring for one another. Great camera work Adine! Limpopo laid down with Khanyisa, then Khanyisa took off! What a stinker!
