Loll sorry bud there is plastic stuff in shimanos reels that ain't worth buying anymore! Go Daiwa instead 8 years with my go to legalis with no issues at all and still going ...had a Shimano nasci before that and it stop working before I took it apart and noticed there was plastic crap that made it unfixable! And the same thing with the symetre!
Dark matter rods look ass, the Shimano reels tho completely opposite... I would need to pair that reel with something better. Makes the combo look cheap

It all depends on the model. Judge each reel individually.
No good brands… only good reels.
