Looks good. I'm running a 20gal max nano with 2clowns,1midus blenny,1sapphire danzel,1firefish,1gobie&1shrimp with no issues. My tank is an LP/softie tank. I removed my skimmer once I added a refugium as it wasn't needed. It over cleaned, and nitrates were running at 0. I now run filterfloss at return to catch the majority of the waist. I change that about every 3-4 days as I like my nitrates around 5-10. The refugium will keep things clean. I run my refugium once the lights go out to counter the number spikes at night, and it turns off when lights come back on. I run bio cubes on the rear chamber bottom to hold the needed bacteria and allow copepods to hide and reproduce for the tank/fish. Like your refugium bucket is doing :) . I would suggest you use phytoplankton as needed. You'll see the differences within coral/clam and pods. I also try to do a 25% warer change every week or two. I feed multiple times a day and haven't had any issues. My tank is about a yr/half old, so it's kinda settled. I use redsea 2part, redsea trace colors,Julia Sprung's Reef Formula "Sea Elements", also 1m of ChaetoGro awk for healthier Chaeto. I'd for sure use Sea Elements for your small tank. It'll do wonders!!! I use 5mil awk for 20gal. My numbers didn't change using it, and my tank responded immediately. Saltwater tanks are a love-hate relationship. Your tank looks great. Nice job, guys.,.
The coral you called "broccoli" is a Green Pocillopora. Those critters in your refugium are pods. A watchman or Yasha goby would be a nice fit for your tank. 👍
Keep in mind that some fish like to dig all over, you have some corals in the sand that might get covered with sand if you get certain Blenny's or Goby's.
great tank progress its a bengai cardinal you were right the first time All for Reef + Kalk is also my routine I dont think you have too many fish i think its just right
Looking good. Do you have a pump in that refugium to create water flow? If not I’d recommend it. Doesn’t have to be a monster, just enough to move things around. Also I’d recommend the tailspot blenny. Was my favorite fish. Trying to find another locally.
Starting reefing can be very fun and challenging, but your tank is maxed as it is. Having the skimmer is nice, but think about the space inside the tank. How would you feel being crammed into a small space with several ppl. General rule is 1 inch of fish per gallon. With rock and sand and the filter area, you have 10-11 gal. Plus your corals taking up volume and you aren't accounting for fish/coral growth.
Very nice. When everything grows in, it’s going to be full of corals. Time to start thinking 2nd tank or upgrade the size. I wouldn’t add any more of anything, personally. Why keep adding more equipment to deal with more fish load, when you can just expand their territory.
Keep going if you wish BUT eventually you will have a crash and lose everything. IMO. I think you are pushing it now and if everything is happy and beautiful. Why risk it? Love your tank!!!@@PlanetHorgen
If anything, just get the Azure and the bangaii out of there. I would also move the torch away from the hammer, it’s one happy polyp extension away from disaster. Tank looks great
Looking awesome! 🤌💯✌️

Thanks for the info! Green Poci it is

yeah if u get a diamond watchman like mine, say goodbye to any corals on the sand
great tank progress

Thanks for the tips and confirmation!

Yes I have a small pump in the refugium to move things around a little. Thx for tail spot reco!

I think we need to get a bigger tank once the coral outgrow the place...
A very nice tank you have going there. You're obviously doing things right.
your bioload looks fine to me. adding more fish might be pushing it but right now it looks fab.
how much Reef HD did you use? what was that process like?
I used one capsule for the Evo 13 one time and started to see results in a few days and complete death of briopsis in 3 weeks
Nice thanks for the response. How many water changes did you have to do after? Do you used filter socks? Also wouldn’t it effect the chaeto ?
Corals all look beautiful though shame about the ones dying on the side

Goal is to upsize tank in 2024
I would vote no more fish. Not worth the risk. You are eventually going to have a bio load/territory problem. Could happen fast too. Just my 2 cents.
Unless he installed a skimmer! I agree, though. No more fish and installing a skimmer is a must!!
Yes we have a skimmer, uv, and refugium plus we do weekly 20% wc but agree we're pushing it

The large orange coral in front has gotten huge since you started posting! Now it resembles a turkey with a raised head and neck, and up-right tail.

Tank is looking kinda empty to be honest. need more fish in there ! Octopus maybe ? or thinking Sea horse maybe
