I showed this clip to some Academic friends from Yemen to watch. There were shocked by the amount of misleading and untrue information about what is happening in Yemen presented by both Tariq and the gust. Because both ideologically hate America, and Saudi has a good relation therefore Saudi by default is evil. My Yemeni friends felt insulted by what is said in this this video and it is an insult to all Yemenis who are suffering by the Huthi rebels who are fully backed by Iran and the deposed president Ali Salih. What is shocking to them was they both never mentioned even once Iran and their support to the rebels by weapons and military experts from Iran and their allied Lebanese group Hizbullah (now they are classified as terrorist Militia by international community). Iran said after the Huthi rebels captured the capital Sana: the forth Arab capital is in our hands (the other Arab capitals in Iranian’s hands are Baghdad, Damascus and Beirut). Of course, no one talked about this. It is a big game being played in the region by Israel, Iran, Russia and even America when Obama was a president, and they expected Saudi and other gulf states to remain still. Till now, thousands of shells and ballistic rockets were launched against civilian targets in the bordering Saudi cities by the rebels. Again no mention of that. Before the war, Gulf states especially Saudi were and still are the major supporting of Yemen politically, economically etc. most of the salaries of Yemeni teachers and medical doctors were paid for ages by Saudi and Emirati governments. Many schools and hospitals built by Saudi. There are millions of Yemeni workers in Saudi and other Gulf States. The crisis in Yemen is far more twisted and misinformed by those two hardcore leftists. I am not a leftist neither capitalist, I am a free thinker not a slave to any ideology like Tariq Ali and his gust who is out of sudden turned from an English teacher to an expert on Yemen. What an irony! Do you know why they did not mention Iran at all! Because some left and socialist and leftist thinkers and political parties in the world funded by Iran. Just read the scandal of the leftist party (Podemos) which was secretly funded by Iran, an oppressive regime. TV Press (Tariq’s favourite TV channel) is also funded by Iran.
You realize that wars have independent investigations as well media involvement, I say that to say none of them have reported any direct or indirect involvement of Iran in the War, and let's say hypothetically that Iran was on the ground giving Houthis full arms logistically and operations support, why is that wrong but KSA UAE has more support that's directly involved in the War from US UK AUS, and don't lie on these Yemeni you talk to you bafoon, truth is the kabsa army knew they couldn't win in a war with Yemen directly, so they created this narrative as excuse to bomb Yemen and attempt to starve them out into submission and hand over control of Yemen, well it's possible but you have to able to execute ground operations and be involved on the ground to gather information and assess the opposition strength or lack of, BUT the Kabsa army doesn't have the testicular fortitude to Engage Yemen
