New approach of the opening. Probably best for Vidit to pay attention to white's advanced pawns and somewhat vulnerable king instead of playing Ra5.

Nepo got Vidit out of his prep early, continued to ask questions on almost every move and then capitalised to secure the win in Black's time trouble.

why should nepo play f4 after h5? he can play 13.Bg5. never come a exchange sac
Nepo played best, vidit chose wrong opening against him , excellent ending analysis 🎉🎉❤
After Nf6 - you say Bg7 is not an issue, because of Nh5...ok, but what if there's a repetition of moves...with the White pieces you don't want a draw that early on in the game...?
It is very sad seeing vidit facing all this. I wish he does not give up and play good chess in the remaining matches without caring about the results. Atleast he should show that he deserves to be in the candidates.
Can I draw an analogy? Its like Abhishek marrying Aishwarya. People are always going to raise doubts, whether he is a deserved or worthy match. Vidit has worked hard to get here. Even after this two losses he has 1.5 points, same as Firoudza and other favourites. And it's just the 4 th round. He has many games to bounce back. But to be honest i dont see that happening, given how much he has struggled especially with the time control.
Vidit placed his own rook in prison on b3 - very strange move. Nepo super sharp as always - I feel he is too much for this field - only Fabi really stands a chance to keep pace with him to the end.

Nepo is very strong if not tilted. His rating is too low at the moment, his strength is close to 2800.
Vidit threw the game in the ending, his precision lowered, probably due to lack of time.
