Why wouldn’t he go pro? He would be crazy to not turn pro, he would make millions , for sure be unified , no one in pro is close to his level

Hey enjoyed your content it’s actually pretty solid! Think you should do some for more of the other elite guys at 2021. I saw some good things from Sousa Khyzniak Marcial Aokuso La Cruz Torres and Pero. I think I saw a few robberies from the Cubans, I keep seeing judges favor guys for aggression but not affective ones. Interest terms you use what’s c slot and pendulum?
Some gyms call “head slots” head frames. On Centerline is “A” slot, the head position in what would be called a jab slip is the “B” slot and further is a “C” slot. Others use 1,2,3.
Pendulum steps are just weight distributions from back leg to lead leg or vice versa. Common in a power jab from the back leg completely to the front.

I can only give you 2 and that’s Floyd and Pernell. The 3rd is too hard for me to decide. I highly value fighters that create and take away options with control, framing, guard manipulation,…. Chess players. Duran, SRR,… would be somewhere up there. I hate trying to put these lists together fam 😂

How can you call a punch that lands on the back of the head illegal when it was caused by the boxer trying to duck under the punch. Perfectly legal punch.
It’s not a scoring blow because it’s not on a target area and it didn’t look like knuckle area of the glove landed. It’s legality would be at the ref and Olympic boxing commissions discretion.
If I had to bet it’s gonna be him & Keyshawn in the gold medal match he beat Keyshawn 3 times but after his last fight you can see how much Keyshawn has improved since they fought I want Keyshawn to beat him Cruz is super slick though it’s gonna be a good match

@Matthew Thomas-erwin in my opinion their first match could have gone either way.as for the second keyshawn right after he was rocked with a shirt right he came back with pernell like defense on the ropes.
Keyshawn doesn’t fight like an amateur boxer anymore and Cruz is probably the best at it within the last 5 years. Cruz is more fluid and has better reflexes, better torso/head movement, quicker hands and feet, higher boxing IQ.

I think he should have gone for the Professional Boxing.. I dont see any Pro Boxing fight.. He can be The Champion of Olympic and even beat Keyshawn Davis.. Davis have a bright future in Pro Boxing, So Andy also can do it great at Pro..

@@montumeroe9593 You must have a broad definition of a “beginner”. Usually beginners are learning their stance, footwork and jab. But you’re associating “beginner” with a 26 year old man that has won Gold in the EU Championships. That also actually landed some punches on Andy Cruz. Figuratively, Andy Cruz was far more talented so you can say he looked like a “beginner” figuratively(that’s still a little iffy). But he definitely did not look like the traditional meaning of a “beginner” boxer in the literal sense. It’s an opinion in the sense that it’s slightly subjective, but slightly is the key word.

I’m not too familiar with how it works in the Cuban boxing system but I believe I read that they earn state salaries.
@@bigwats1250 Going pro is illegal in Cuba, and if you get smuggled or sneak out of cuba to go professional, you are basically never allowed to return you are considered a disgrace to them so it’s a huge sacrifice, and you have to escape off the island on a raft.
