Paul your run through has confirmed what i discovered with my Treg with the old 373 relay and then the new replaced 645. Your additional comments on change of relay when work to the air system is done is a good benchmark. I would go one further and as a "serviceable item" or item that will break and cause significant damage to a whole system in time i reckon the relay should be replaced between 50k - 100k. Or you end up with $$$ problems with faulty pumps and blown lines Been there wasn't nice. Whole exercise from your competition cost more that $3000 instead of maybe $500. Plus the new relay !! Go figure. Wish i new you then .... i would have been straight over. Plan to replace a $40 relay every 50k !!
100% agree with your comment Don't forget to replace your fuel pump relay as well. I always replace them every 6yrs No matter what Brand of car 40A 4 pin relay Narva $20
Thank you for the video. I finally found it, right behind the steering shafts. Near impossible to reach! Any chance you know where the fuse for the AC compressor is located? Battery box under the driver seat? (My car is a 2012 CTT, Left hand drive) Thanks in advance
Muchas gracias por las indicaciones, tenia dudas si el relé 373 (original) era compatible con el relé 645, dado que en Aliexpres el relé 645 esta a mitad de precio que el 373. Ahora lo debo reemplazar dado que se queda pegado el relé y el funcionamiento del compresor es constante, y se llegaría a quemar si no es por desconectar momentáneamente el fusible de 40A que esta por el costado de la puerta del piloto. Verificaré también el relé de la bomba de combustible que indicas en comentarios mas abajo ... que problemas produce el no cambio de dicho relé?
Does anyone know what the rest of those relays are for ? I think my car has the wrong relay in slot # 7. Is the 643 relay different from a 645? I’ve also seen a 373 used for the air compressor. Please help!!
It may stick on, causing fuse to blow or in some cases compressor to burn out. If it is not changed with new compressor it can burn that one out as well.
